A group of protesters in Chicago called for action and heavily criticized President Obama for ignoring the high rates of violent crime in the city while spending billions of dollars to deal with an influx of illegal child immigrants into the U.S.
“Do something for our children,” said one of the protesters, in a video posted at the blog Rebel Pundit. “Have the same love for these young young people like you got for the ones across the border, and you want to save them.”
“With the president setting aside all of these funds for immigrants, and forsaking the African American community and African American families, I think that’s a disgrace,” said another man attending the rally, which was held in front of the Chicago police department.
As Rebel Pundit notes, at least 120 people have been shot and another 26 have been killed in Chicago so far in July.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, the White House announced plans to ask Congress for $3.7 billion to help house and process immigration cases for tens of thousands of unaccompanied children from Central America who have recently been apprehended at the southern U.S. border in Texas.
“Mr. President…you’re spending billions of dollars in Texas, but we’ve got a problem here in Chicago,” said one female protester....

I find it hard to be inspired by this. It is another group asking taxpayers for even more money. In other words. The black community in Chicago is admitting they are incapable of fending for themselves without tax dollars. The people in this video will NEVER vote for conservatives or republicans.

These morons don’t realize that just because “he looks like them,” that he is anything like them. Maybe they need to quit looking down at their arms and voting for anyone with the same skin color, and start making an attempt to understand their belief system. They are called “Holder’s People,” but that’s a sham. Holder is a smart Communist, and they are mostly just uneducated Black People, who are looking to be cared for.

The Founding States had made the 10th Amendment to clarify that the Constitution's silence about issues like immigration means that immigration is uniquely a state power issue. And since immigration is a state power issue, the federal government cannot appropriate funds for immigration issues.

But even if the feds had the constitutional authority to appropriate funds to deal with immigration issues, it remains that the violence that Chicago protestors are complaining about is a 10th Amendment-protected intrastate power issue. This means that the feds couldn't throw taxpayer dollars at Chicago's problems even if the federal government wasn't wrongly throwing money at immigration problems.
Talk to Obama’s hand.
I thought Obama’s stash solved those problems.
Republicans should start calling this Hispanic reparations.
