This report came out yesterday and appears credible. Intercepted radio traffic also points to Russian backed militia units. Despite their denials, looks like the rooskies did this.
I found it interesting in the linked Mail article that the Ukrainian expert said the launcher was headed for the crusher and the crew that fired it are probably already dead, executed to remove all witnesses from this world.

Yes, as an example, I do think of Pat as being embarrassingly fond of anti-American autocrats, like Putin. Putin’s pattern of reestablishing the soviet/Russian empire is clear. For Pat, that’s no biggie.
BTW I was just reading where the Ukrainians have prove it was Russians -NOT ‘rebels’- operating the BUK batteries. They say they have intercepts to prove it.

I think Pat was just born 200 years too late. He’d have made a good proponent of autocracy as the best way to preserve traditions and the rights of kings and superior men.

I agree. Cruz should be an easy candidate for conservatives to coalesce around; he’s very smart and committed to our ideals. He’s not bitten by the crank theories that abound and spin up some who cannot discern, for example, that Putin is a statist who uses a couple of conservative views for demagogic reasons only.
Not to make light out of any of this but it looks like they were trying to do a Reichstag fire, forgot they needed a patsy, and were too dim to notice that it would come back on them.

The BUK launcher in your picture is not empty. It has two SAMs clearly visible and with atleast one missing. It’s not clear from the photo if the 4th one is there or not.
