A Tokyo-based spokesman for McDonald's Japan told AFP the restaurant chain had sourced about 20 percent of its McNuggets from the Shanghai factory, and had suspended sales of its product since Monday.

Around 500 of McDonald's restaurants in Japan, a sixth of the total, had temporarily stopped selling McNuggets while the company obtained alternative supplies, he added....

And now China gets to process US chicken and sell it back to us. What could possibly go wrong?

The Chinese will poison themselves before long. I know middle-class Chinese in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan that refuse to bay any food product made in China. They will only shop at Carrefor or Wal-Mart

In Hong Kong supermarkets, they usually label where any produce is from. If something isn’t labeled with a country of origin, it’s from China. They farm in garbage dumps.

I stopped eating chicken nuggets and the spicy chicken patty.

Which pretty much ends my relationship with fast food.

Never ever buy any food products from China. Not for you and not for your pet. The Chinese adulterate everything

We were discussing this at dinner last night. A friend is going to China sightseeing soon because his girlfriend wanted to go. He is planning on subsisting on high end made in USA protein bars while there.

Rule one when eating out - never eat at fast food or chain restaurants . You never know WHERE the # food # comes from or WHO is working in the kitchen .

Isn’t all meat expired? I’d hate to chomp on meat that wasn’t, it could put up quite a fuss.

You know, going forward the problem is going to be that Chinese-processed chicken could be in any American produced product that purports to contain chicken, canned or frozen.

I won’t feed my pets food not made in the United States, and I have noticed companies are beginning to distinguish themselves by announcing their products are sourced and made in America. Hopefully, people-food companies will follow suit.
