Not News in NJ: Cop Claims Police Don't Have to Follow Constitution Because Obama Doesn't

1 1/2 minute video at link.

“Obama has decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn. If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to.”

So who made this claim? Some crazy guy drunk on beer? Nope. More like an on-duty New Jersey cop drunk on power. As you can see in this video (and after the jump) he was not at all reticent about making this claim. Pretty shocking stuff and the video is now going viral on the Web. However, don't check for it at NJ.Com which covers New Jersey news in such detail that you can do a county by county search for specific local news because a check at their Middlesex County section which includes Helmetta where the video was shot has nothing about it. Although the story, which includes allegations of absurdly extreme nepotism, does not appear at NJ.Com you can read the details behind it at The Free Thought Project:

A brutally candid video was captured and uploaded to youtube Monday of an Helmetta, NJ cop.

Steve Wronko had gone to the Helmetta Police Department with a list of objections about recent violations at the Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter. According to the Community outreach facebook page created to expose the atrocities of the shelter, Reform Helmetta Regional Animal Shelter, there is a long stemming controversy from the Helmetta Mayor, Nancy Martin.

Martin also happens to be the tax collector for the City of Perth. In 2011, Martin made her son, Brandon Metz, the head of the Animal Shelter. She also appointed him to Animal Cruelty Investigator, Borough Laborer, Water Meter Reader, and Certified Recycling Co-ordinator, according to the facebook page.

When Wronko went to the police department to voice his complaints about the violations of his Constitutional rights by this corrupt, nepotistic system, he was met with even more corruption.

“I’ve made you objections about what’s going on at the shelter over there….,” says Wronko.

To which the corrupt Helmetta police officer replies, “Obama just decimated the freakin’ Constitution, so I don’t give a damn. If he doesn’t follow the Constitution, we don’t have to.”

Hey, maybe the Helmetta mayor could perform a goodwill gesture to prove she isn't guilty of extreme nepotism. Instead of appointing her son as official Town Clown, she could place the cop in the video in that spot instead. But would it be reported by NJ.Com?

I think that’s a great argument. I also think that state governors should announce that they consider federal law to be optional and enforcement of that law subject to their own judgement.

the governors would lose, but it would take years of wrangling in the courts before that happened, and they would substantially get away with it — just like obama has done.

All of the lawlessness that is encouraged at the Federal level begs the question:

“Is there any reason to obey any laws?”

Unelected EPA run roughshod over citizens.

Unconstitutional tax/fine/penalty Unaffordable Care Act still exists.

President makes unlawful executive edicts.

Federal government encourages illegal invaders to come in and steal our jobs and break our laws and REFUSES to uphold the existing laws.

Feds are against God's law by siding with Israel who is just trying to defend Itself.

Any reason why the common person should obey any laws?

This is the adult equivalent of “I jumped off the bridge because Johnny jumped off the bridge.”

Dims are children. We shouldn’t be. So I’m not going to respect the Constitution because he doesn’t? The this cop is anti-American and has no respect for that great document. I have no patience for this.

Well, Bob Dylan taught me “In ‘Jersey everythings legal as long as you don’t get caught”.

This is why NJ cops and other bureaucrats want gun control.

I don’t know... The video was cut and spliced, and it’s not showing the whole conversation from start to finish. Who knows... maybe the officer’s words were taken out of context. For all I know, the officer might’ve been complaining about violations of the Constitution and maybe even siding with the protester. And maybe the protester just played that one line over and over in a loop in the video.

Let’s hear the whole conversation from start to finish.

I agree. Cops and citizens should not be restrained by constitutional laws, or any other laws for that matter, as long as our king and his fellow tyrants are free to be their own ruling authority. If they don’t need the rule of law, I don’t.

Agreed. If the AG of the U.S. tells the state AG’s they don’t have to enforce all the laws of that state, where does it end? Illegals make up their own laws to follow in regard to immigration. It’s no leap to think that others will do the same. We don’t need no stinkin’ laws.

Remember, too, the RAT POTUS before this one gave kids a free pass for oral sex not being sex. Elections do have consequences.

Somebody must ask Gov. Christie what his thoughts are, and what if any actions he, as Governor, are going to take.

The border patrol is a good candidate to defy the Feds and just begin, on their own, to take illegals back across the border. Two can play this lawless game, no?

They would be cheered as heros, so arresting them would only make Obama look worse. Just a thought.
