When I was a young man, I took Orwell's novels as dystopian fantasy, not prophecy....how wrong I was.

Obamas jihad is the shuck and jive. There is a sucker born very minute and the progressive left owns the title.

There’s only one use to which I’d put a Koran, new or used.

This author is so right on the money. It’s a reality. Islam must be destroyed. It cannot be eliminated. Ideology cannot be eliminated, but the physical assets that the ideology employ can, and must be destroyed everywhere they exist in this entire World.

We all know that real Muslims believe in panda bears, being honest with yourself, and that it’s OK to cry. Real Muslims have no problem with sensitivity, getting in touch with one’s feelings, realizing a tree is just another person, and drowning your depression in a chocolate binge.

The Levant is a rather sophisticated, cosmopolitan phrase depicting the general region of Asia Minor which encompasses the vast land-bridge connecting the entire area along/East of the Mediterranean Sea, including Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, parts of Turkey and Egypt, and so forth.Sorry, but the author is mistaken.
His definition of the Levant is accurate. But "Asia Minor" refers not to this region but to the large peninsula between the Black Sea and the Med. Also known as Anatolia and which presently composes most of Turkey.
Also, the Arabic phrase actually used by ISIS is al Sham, which doesn't mean the 70 year old state of Syria in its present boundaries, but a much older term that means "Greater Syria," and has approximately the same boundaries as the European Levant.

Wow. At last an actual coherent description of the PC mess we have made for ourselves. Well written and correct with regard to both the mess and the resolution. (But minus the nukes, at least I hope so.)
Thanks for posting.

I was watching that speech with my parents and when he said “ISIL is not Islamic..” we looked at each other “Is this guy for real?” EVERYTHING about ISIL/ISIS is Islamic, EVERYTHING! This Obama is a trip, he just spews absolute BS and he just don’t give a damn. This is the kind of guy who will look you straight in the face and say “The sky is green” and not even flinch.

I thought a used Koran was considered blasphemous in Islam.

I did the same my FRiend! Actually, Orwell's critics at the time called him paranoid and delusional. Orwell was a modern day Prophet for sure. His writings were in the 1940's and 1950's.

” he said ISIL is not Islamic..”
then he said something to the effect that no religion advocates harming innocents
...so since we know isil IS islamic - is he saying islam is not a religion?

"Not only are Americans too dumbed-down, diverse, and demoralized, after well over a decade of the pure folly of trying to nation-build, to turn entire populations of atavistic Islamic zombies into freedom-loving, modern human beings, to rally for more war; we also do not have anything resembling the leadership for success in such a struggle.
