What was loudmouth Lindsey Graham's views on immigration and spending when he first became a conservative rockstar in the 1990s?

Gowdy voted with the rule to let Boehner's amnesty funding.

I was more impressed with Steve King destroying Colbert and John Yoo destroying Jon Stewart.

Those guys are bigger fish than Obama's yes men.

Gowdy voted against the bill on its final vote.

Whoever wrote the headline for this post needs to look up the definition of protege.

If I were Trey I’d take my showers at home from now on, rather than the congressional gym locker room.

The most important vote was the bill to allow the spending bill on the floor. Gowdy voted for that.

Yeah. Gowdy stood up.

Good on him. I had put him in the forgetaboutit category.

Now get Lerner, Trey.

Good prosecutor always knows how to work his way up the line to the King Rat.

Thanks for stating that...notice so many people have no clue on the process. The rule to bring it to the floor is most important, and Gowdy went right along and voted for that, so he could say later he voted against it...total RINO move IMO.

Its a long used tactic. He wasn’t going to be able to stop the vote forever so it was better to proceed with something unpalatable and vote against it when it came up.

The best part is that its unpalatable to many in the senate which brings us to where we are now.

” so he could say later he voted against it..”

That is also a favorite trick of the rinos when they vote FOR cloture to stop a filibuster (takes 60 votes) and then vote against the bill (takes 51 votes) so they can deceive the voters who don’t pay attention.

Yeah, 'funny' how that crap works, isn't it? His NO vote would have killed this crap sandwich!

Louie Gohmert for Speaker of the House!!!!!

Meaning his NO vote on the rule. Had he done THAT, this BS would be dead.

I read where Rep. Stutzman said they were straight up lied to about that vote by the leadership. The bill was supposed to be replaced with a short term CR but never was. At least that’s what he said.

Thank you for reminding FReepers who idolize the useless Gowdy how he is all bark and no bite, and supports amnesty 100%.

So, he admits to not following their own rules??

3 days to read/debate but voting w/out knowing what they’re voting on, nor reading the bill...

Boy, where can *I* get a job like that and NOT be in gov’t?
