Anyone interested in either going as a voluntary soldier, or who is interested in garnering support for the ASsyrian and Iraqi Christian men who have volunteered for the new militia/military group forming to defend the Christians and other persecuted minority groups such as Yezidis) in Iraq against ISIS. This can mean financial support by individuals, church or social organisations who want to raise financial support on a one-time basis or on-going, or for people who want and/or can help gain support with through government in the U.S. or other countries.

If anyone is interested in this issue and helping in any way they can, please go to: restoreninevehnow.org and look up Jeff Gardner. He is the one spearheading this effort. He is a Catholic believer, and a humanitarian journalist. You may have heard of him. He is planning a conference call for this coming Monday evening, U.S. time 12/22/14 for anyone interested. Go to his site and contact him either via e-mail or by the phone number listed. Their site is being attacked through attempted hacking. So, if you have a hard time getting through, then private message me. I'll find out this weekend the exact time of the conference call, the number to call, etc.

As Christians, we need to remember our brothers and sisters and help them to be able to save their own lives and defend their families and homes. They are getting very little aid. The people are living in horrific conditions, and the captives are suffering in ways most of us here can't imagine.

For soldiers or ex-soldiers interested in going to help, the time is coming when you can do so. This includes Canadian, European, Australian or people from other nations with the desire to help. Another conference call for a later time may also be able to be set up for those not able to attend this Monday. And please share this with others you know who are interested!
