I doubt that she can keep the autopsy report from being disclosed, especially to the plaintiffs and their lawyers and to the court.

If she is hiding anything, it’s just until she can come up with some kind of excuse for why she was ‘led astray’ by the incomplete and confusing evidence, and could do nothing but to indict the 6 officers in the case.

Gray was not known to use heroin, but it was found in his toxicology report. He has just been seen by an undercover cop making a hand to hand transaction prior to his feeing the police.

It makes sense that he may have swallowed what he was selling. Grays mother is a long time heroin addict and he kept her supplied.

The symptoms that Gray exhibited are all consistent with heroin overdose: difficulty breathing, convulsions (the thrashing around that was reported) cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, and coma.

There is definitely something that is damaging to her case in that report. The M.E. had indicated to the police that he was not finding anything that was not consistent with the injury from the bolt in the van. Mosby contacted him and the next day she’s out with a report that he ruled it a homicide. Very suspicious.

How to arrest officers and get their cases thrown in one smart move?

Marilyn Mosby must have a screw loose in her head.

She's probably taking advice from the Justice Department.

My guess is that Freddie swallowed the evidence (heroin) when he ran into the building (captured on video surv. cams) and that he went into convulsions which led to his being comatose for a week and then dying.

Very interesting hypothesis!

"You can’t with hold evidence from those that are charged with a crime."

Many cases demonstrate otherwise....

“Perhaps she is now trying to stack the deck in her favor by suppressing vital evidence that could exonerate the officers she’s charging.”

The evidence will come out what’s she waiting for? Hoping it will change by magic?

Sure you can. You just get your butt kicked on appeal for doing so.

But theres absolutely no way you get to withold an autopsy report from a defendent. So I think she’s trying to delay things here, buying time ... for what?

Possibly to allow things to cool down more before she has to release something in the cops’ favor?

Does your view come from a distrust of the police?

I don’t have any idea or opinion at all just trying to understand where you are “coming from”.

Please don’t be offended I’m just asking.

She doesn’t want the public to say #1..that Freddie Gray ingested his stash of cocaine that he was out selling that morning..and #2..that he had a pre existing neck injury..this Mosby by far takes the cake for the biggest scum bag award

The autopsy (autopsies) of Saint Trayvon and the "Gentle Giant" proved to be very embarrassing (to say the least) to the "black lives matter" crowd.

I wonder if this prosecutor just might be well on her way to disbarment.

If what she is doing is as illegal as it sounds then the cops should call Dershowitz. However liberal he is, he is definitely an opponent of legal shenanigans.

She may not have liked the report. They may keep trying until they get one they like.

Pushing for plea bargains? One folds, the rest are in a bind.

You can’t with hold evidence from those that are charged with a crime.

She says that she already knows that the cops are all guilty, so she doesn't understand why she needs to prove it to anyone else.

She's obviously in over her head (she was there the day she stuck her snout in it), and I'm betting the report is showing her incompetence and bias in spades. Ol' Freddy slam-danced himself into a pine box, methinks. Someone needs to remind this child that suppression of evidence and obstruction of justice and felonies that can get you fitted for an orange jumpsuit.

She is the prosecution.

It is a criminal offense for the prosecution to hide information from the defense if that information is exculpatory.

Why would she hide the autopsy report?

Only because it has something in it that would be in favor or the defense, possibly to the point that it would make her case impossible.

She will release it. The judge will require that she release it.

She is legally bound to turn over all exculpatory evidence. Failure to do so can lead to punishment from Bar discipline up to disbarment. She is in over her head and doesn’t know how to wiggle out of this self inflicted mess.

Information is like heat. It always fins a way out.

We’ll hear about its contents before too long.
