It's not really all that complicated; the fact is that so-called "new" conservatives that go to Congress don't even get in the front door of the House of Representatives before even the simplest autonomy is stripped from them. I've witnessed this in the past; a Rep I helped to get elected was told by the Republican leadership that he had to surrender all communication means that did not go through Republican leadership-owned and operated infrastructure -- yes, even his personal cellphone.

Who holds the reins of these people? Who the hell knows -- did we learn nothing from Dennis Hastert and his hidden liability for an alleged series of felonies he committed years earlier? Who thinks this isn't the stock in trade in our so-called CONgress?

Not only the TPP but damn near everything else that CONgress has done over the last several decades is rife with corruption and, I argue, is little more than selling the nation's population into slavery.

Yet we continue to sit for it.

Why?

I have been very agitated for at least 16-years over the elites and their plans. Elites, who consider themselves Global Citizens, despise the average American. The Democrats in this country might as well be called Communists, since that is who they have become.

I don’t know anyone who voted for this crap during the 2012 and 2014 elections; do you?

Worthy of investigation thanks SD. No reflection on Satin Doll who posted this but; Copied and sent on to Limbaugh asking if this is true. If I had a conservative congress critter in my district I’d do the same and ask if this is so ?

Glad you posted this and Bill Still ‘ s thought provoking commentary.
Very compelling points he makes regarding founding father’s caution on free trade, and why duties and tariffs were in place.
We cannot compete with the low wages and low regulatory standards of second world Asian nations.
TPP will most benefit the profits of large US businesses.
The middle class will be further killed off by cheap off shore labor, as “Free” trade and NAFTA has proven.
