Google’s director of engineering Ray Kurzwell is promising that with robots in our brains, we’ll be godlike
OMG, here comes Google.
Now that the UN is prepping to force a robot like lifestyle on unsuspecting humanity with its Agenda 21 morphed into Agenda 2030, Search Engine giant Google, will impose robot-hood on human beings on the same 2030 deadline.
As if life isn’t tough enough with the cunning that comes with human DNA, what with terrorists posing as refugees, psychopaths in the workplace and politicians getting elected with the express intention of fundamentally transforming a nation, not to mention paying millions in taxpayer dollars to organizations who sell aborted baby parts on the open market, the future a mere 15 years from now will mean having to deal with the “artificial intelligence” of peers gone rogue that Google insists on calling “God-like”.
Thanks Google for teaching humanity that when multi-nationals have enough money and the lodestone of power, anything’s likely to happen.

It amazes me how webpage creators have assumed the mantle of defying this country, and humans in general.
Personalities, work ethic, human traits all defined by the likes of Facebook. Google - formerly a good search engine - now somehow now ordained to control every aspect of our lives.

Lol...imagine If the software could influence your thinking. Imagine if Google maintained ownership of all hardware and software, and any violation of contract would permit them to shut down said hardware and software, even if it took over basic brain functionality. Imagine if they decided to repossess said software/hardware because they didn’t like what they were seeing in your recorded thought stream. Imagine you declined said implants and within months your job is taken over by an H1B cyborg from India and now his English is perfect due to the seamless Google translate app he downloaded two days ago.

Kurzwell has been writing books about the coming singularity between man and computers for decades.
He predicts the singularity in the early 2040’s. It doesn’t start out with a brain in your skull (ala Old Man’s War), no. It starts with things like nanobots injected that kills cancer. Who could say no to that?

No. The human mind alone will not be “God-like”; linking it to a computer program written by a human mind will not make it “God-like” either.
This comes from their mechanistic understanding of the human organism. (The human mind is just a mass of circuitry and wiring.)
Indeed he has and his predictions have been pretty accurate. What the apparently uninformed Freepers are missing here is that Kurzwell is simply predicting the inevitable.
Yes, Google will help make it happen but technology will advance with or without Google's help. Your nanobot example is a good one. It is coming. If you don't want it, don't buy it. But people will adopt and adapt to new technology. They certainly adapted to having an encyclopedia and a universal communications gadget in their purse or pocket quite rapidly. That is trend that is not going to change.
Imagine sitting in a restaurant where everyone is zoned out because they are sending Twitter messages through their mind. Barely God-like.
Also a direct attack on Genesis: You shall be as gods.
They are an ad company, they are not very good at anything outside of creating technology to deliver ads and collect private information. Everything they have tried outside of that AD related activity has been a failure because they are just a bunch of collectivist, Godless weenies.
