“UNHRC Resolution 16/18 was co-sponsored by the United States, along with Pakistan. During a series of closed-door meetings over at least three years, it was spearheaded by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

So we can’t talk about Mohammed having sexual intercourse with his 9 year old wife EVEN THOUGH IT’S FACT?

Sadly, yes. The left cannot defend its absurdities so they just shut down the speech rights of the opposition both with law and with unfair social labeling. The irony is that they promoted their deviant ideas by demanding free speech and by calling popular social standards unfair labeling and social constructs. Their hypocrisy knows no limits.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a fact if it incites Muslims to violence. Everything incites them. This is sharia.

The atomic weight of carbon incites Muslims to violence.

When is speech like crying fire in a theater?

If I’m a counter protestor are things different than if I’m with people who agree?

Is time a factor? If the protest or other group event is having emotions aroused and rhetoric escalates, is that different than if the same comments are made when not in an emotional crowd or when those in the crowd have cooled down?

Most importantly, does anyone have the freedom to not be offended? To not feel excluded? to not be disrespected? or criticized? or have feeling hurt?

Does it matter if the speech is true or false? Note that fact checking outfits (both left and right) themselves spread falsehoods. A person says “the tree is green”. The fact checker says half true because the tree is not in a forest, which the original speaker never took a position on one way or the other.

There are so many aspects once we start to judge the speech of others.

Gee, who knew this would be the inevitable bottom of the slippery slope of “hate crimes” legislation?

Oh yeah, we all did.

Eighty-two leading Democrats have cosponsored a House Resolution (H.Res. 569) "Condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States".

Since they're far from the majority the bill will die.

Anyway, the purpose of the bill is to make the Republicans look like bigots and the Muslims to always vote democrat like blacks do.

Is there anything the democrats in Congress do that doesn't have a political angle to it? (I know, Rhetorical Question)

Wow you think?

Bernie Sanders - one of the leaders of the Democrat primary has proposed an amendment to the Constitution which would repeal the 1st Amendment’s free speech clause.

Well I don’t know.

I think we need some great thinkers to look in on the idea that the American Left is trying to dump free speech.
