What an idiotic comment. His kids are very good kids; Ivana is a convert to Judaism, hardly the act of an atheist.
And to the Cruzers: not everybody wears their religion on their sleeves. Some even find it distasteful.

One of them got arrested for stalking his ex girlfriend. IIRC, he was DUI at the time. I think the other one got arrested for having sex in a car or something like that.

He did not serve like his father or his brother. He married a foreigner. Speaks Spanish at home. Is for open borders. Is more of a socialist than most every one save Bernie

The most successful one, GP, went down to Mexico and apologized for the Border Patrol.
So what if he married a woman of Mexican descent? Or if he speaks spanish. That does not mean he can’t be an American patriot. I do strongly disagree with Jeb on amnesty and some other issues. That, too, does not mean he is not a patriot. He is horribly wrong and unwise on that issue. I think going too far (as Trump does repeatedly) demeans the one who does it, not Jeb. It helps Jeb by proving his point that his opposition is dishonest and fringe.
Tell me how he is a patriot?
He is for common core. He is for open borders. He is for TPP.
I disagree with him on those issues. But I do not think it means he is anti-American like the left. It is not my job to sell his patriotism. But I am not going to say he is not a patriot American just to gain points from the bully crowd. It is enough to make the case against him based on the issues.
I am all for ending the PC police. But the pendulum with Trump leading has swung 180 in the other bad direction. People now want an Insulter-in-Chief. Not me. I want someone who understands the Constitution and conservatism and seeks to restore and defend it. I want someone principled and of good character.

I did not say he hates America. I said he is not a patriot. He will not stand and fight to keep our country from being swallowed whole by the snake of the DC establishment
