Jeremy Corbyn is on collision course with Labour MPs and trade unions for defiantly speaking at an anti-Trident rally and snubbing his party's pro-EU campaign.
The Labour leader will address a CND rally in London alongside the SNP's Nicola Sturgeon, Leanne Wood of Plaid Cymru, the Green Party MP Caroline Lucas and veteran left-wing actress Vanessa Redgrave.
His decision has infuriated many Labour MPs, who claim he is campaigning against the party's policy on Trident and ignoring its policy to campaign to remain in the EU.
Although Mr Corbyn will also attend Labour's Yorkshire and the Humber regional conference, where speakers will include Labour In For Britain leader Alan Johnson, he will miss a national day of campaigning on the EU.

The UK can’t afford any Navy since it has all those deserving muslims to feed, mosque construction, foot baths, plus all those korans to print not to mention the financial burden of halal food everywhere.
Then there is the huge cost of enforcing the hate speech regulations against various primitive Anglos, Celts, Welsh, and Irish. The cost of putting down those groups will likely resemble the costs to put down the IRA - so they will need every shilling for these more worthy programs than some stinking navy.
All this over chewing gum?
Peter Hitchens, who writes for the “Mail on Sunday” and has a blog on the “Daily Mail” site, is not keen on Trident.
He thinks the problem with Trident is that its an American system being leased by the UK.
He would prefer that the UK have its own small nuclear deterrent under its own ownership.
Of course he does. All the money needed to fund the development, manufacture, manning, infrastructure, and deployment will eat up what little monies the UK devotes to defense - so never happen. He just wants to pretend that he is not a socialist pacifist who hates things military.
Peter is quite a contrast to his late brother, Christopher, the atheist neocon supporting interventionist.
So, naturally, you support him, right?
WTF does that mean?
Getting a break from the constant stream of pro-Cruz/anti-Trump articles, wasn't what I expected.
So I thought I'd do so mild chain-yanking in return.
Carry on, FRiend... you're a known long-time FReeper with good conservative credentials. We just happen to disagree on the best candidate for the GOP for this election.
He doesnt know what hes talking about then.
