Political Correctness has Neutered Patriotism [vanity]

Posted on 03/13/2016 6:04:42 AM PDT by Arthur Wildfire! March

Seeing the Chicago Rally with a fresh perspective:

On 9-11-01 most of the passengers in the commercial jets cooperated with terrorists. Why? Political correctness dictated that they do so. Who turned out to be right?

The passengers of United 93 -- this century's first stark example of patriotic courage.

At the Chicago rally most of the Trump supporters avoided confrontations. Who turned out to be right?

In that case there was NO WAY that any patriotic civilian could do the right thing. The law plays favorites against patriotism, especially in thuggish hellholes like Chicago.

So sure, a man could keep his pride and defend women and children from thuggish vulgarity and intimidation tactics, but true chivalry leads to prison, fines, and legal fees.

If he has children? His chivalry destroys their lives.

Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels: 'Whoever conquers the streets, conquers the state.'

Hitler sent his brown shirts out to the streets to demand submission to their politics.

Anti-patriots do the exact same thing. They send out their brown shirts to not only conquer the streets but to vulgarize and better yet -- suppress -- any political rally they are opposed to.

Trump had two choices:

1. A classic campaign that hides from the anti-patriots and look to Robot Romney as an exmple of how to avoid their temper tantrums.

2. A bold campaign that confronts anti-patriotism head-on.

Unlike Goebbels, Trump merely sought a chance to speak at his rallies, avoid lobbed tomatoes etc., and become an example of patriotic courage.

If anything, the Chicago Rally proved that Trump supporters are your typical law abiding citizens. A side of me is embarassed. They fled. They allowed themselves to be bullied.

Worst of all, I'm ashamed of myself. I had been part of that 'be civil and turn the cheek a hundred times' mantra. My attitute helped endanger the lives of those Trump supporters.

But then I remind myself that I'm not the problem. Our nation's Ruling Class and legal system are.

So patriots run away, hide, sometimes even grovel before the brown shirts while children watch. In the meantime never forget that being a Trump supporter is being a brown shirt, right?

Details of REAL brown shirt activity at the Chicago Rally ...

I cannot tell you how angry I was to hear that quote from Ted on the news when I had just returned from the Chicago Rally ...

... and those people, the 200 that ambushed our car, hated me ... screamed at me and pounded on our windows because I was White ... and I was exiting a parking garage next to a trump Rally...I had no bumper stickers, no buttons, and no beef with these rent-a-thugs ...

They believed they had a right to hate whether based in reality or not...just like protesters in Ferguson.

Ted, on the other hand, sought sanctuary in the safety of a suburban fundraiser, with $120+ dinners...

So easy for Ted to come out and make outrageous smug statements...he did not have the guts to hold an open, free rally in Chicago...and now he states it is Trump's fault that mobsters want to squash Trump's speech because it is not PC. Some 'Constitutionalist' coward Cruz is! Shame on Ted!!!!!!!!!

'Police say at least five people, including a CBS News Reporter were arrested [at the rally]. A Chicago police spokesman said Illinois State Police arrested CBS's Sopan Deb. CBS said 'In the midst of reporting on this event, CBS News' Sopan Deb was detained by law enforcement.'

In St. Louis this featured at least one man stomping a flag while wearing a '**** the police' t-shirt.

In Chicago there were many Mexican flags flown, including some being worn as clothing, among the crowd, panned across repeatedly on live TV. There were hoards of people who swarmed the parking garage, smashing car windows. And who else was there, probably instigating it all?

Former leader of the Weather Underground (that's a domestic terrorist organization that actually set off bombs at the Capitol, the Department of State and the Pentagon along with blowing up a statue in Chicago and committing arson in New York City) Bill Ayres.

Obama literally began his political career in Ayres living room. [links provided at the article].

I posted some of your research here:

‘... Leftist protesters cheered, beat Trump supporters, block an ambulance to the local hospital and screamed profanities at families staying at the Trump Hotel ...’

Blocking an ambulance is life endangerment. To HELL with political correctness. Ambulances should be allowed to run down deliberate antagonists and ignore their subsequent injuries. No rescue vehicles should be sent to help them. Dashcams and loud speakers could be used to coordinate ramming with dispatch.

The protesters at Trumps rally immediately ceased their disruption as soon as he threatened legal action. That’s what we are dealing with, a bunch of criminals who have assiduously studied the law so that they can more effectively violate other people’s rights and avoid legal penalties in so doing.

More and more I suspect that this was political theater, and if it was, it worked far better than he likely imagined.

To start with, it cemented his base with a clear contrast between “us and them”. Held deep in “enemy territory”, it was guaranteed that every radical would attend and show themselves as the crude, repugnant, tyrannical anti-Americans they are.

While both sides clearly wanted to brawl, by canceling he showed wisdom to not bring about the chaos that would be blamed on him.

Afterwards, noting that many of the radical agitators were carrying Sanders signs, he called on Sanders to remonstrate with his followers to be non-violent. Sanders did not reply, something that could be thrown in his face in future.

Then, perhaps the best of all, his Republican opponents all came out and blamed it on him, demanding that he “tone down” his campaign, and essentially, to “lie” like they do to prevent hurt feelings among bad people.

What a gift. If it was political theater, he deserves several Tony awards. Otherwise, he was insanely lucky.

PC is a one way street. Animals wreaking havoc on the streets is not politically incorrect for some reason. It’s a marxist sham and supposedly astute analysts can’t see it. Including some of those supposedly of a conservative bent.

So F*** them all.

It was actually at the Kansas City rally. Trump was on fire last night at that one. We have been waiting for someone with the courage to say the things he said in KC.

BTW, apart from all the other astonishment at what we’re seeing in this movement: does Trump have superhuman stamina? Who else goes and presides over THREE big-league rallies, 1000 miles apart, in one day. Hats off to that, too.

Interesting article, but I completely disagree with the above. Passengers cooperated because previous highjackings resulted in detours, inconvenient delays and eventual release, if you cooperate and don't try to be a hero. The thought that the hijacker's intention was to fly into buildings never occurred to them.

The Trump candidacy has thoroughly exposed the GOPe for what it is. Yes, lots of people had already figured them out but many others still labored under the illusion that the party was conservative. That mask has been removed.

I personally don’t believe that the GOP can ever be reformed. The culture of weakness, corruption and deceit is just too deeply ingraining in the party’s DNA to ever change. Its a lost cause. The sooner we grasp that reality the better.

This incident also revealed who is in the GOPe, including some who we have welcomed into our ranks.

Since Iowa, my support for Cruz has steadily eroded.

Initially, he was my idol and prime candidate, then a peer with Donald Trump, then a potential running mate for Donald Trump, then a replacement for McConnell and then an excellent replacement for Antonin Scalia, but now, I wouldn't trust him as the Congressional janitor.

“Committed Conservative”, my Irish Ass! Lying, two-faced Coward is much more accurate!
