I never said it was a correct decision, but it is true. Look up United States v. Miller. Here’s one of the goverments arguments in support of the law (National Firearms Act of 1934):
3.The Second Amendment protects only the ownership of military-type weapons appropriate for use in an organized militia.
Now they argue you shouldn’t own an AR 15 because it is desgned to be used in the militia!
If hoplophobes take a run at me on gun issues, I nust tell them that I’m prp choice on gun ownership and that I would never force them to buy one. Usually, they become speechless.
