This mans prophecy was wrong and now he is trying to justify it
I believe it was God's will that Obama take power in the United States. I don't for one moment believe that was done to make America stronger and more free, just the opposite. Still, somehow, that terrible event was part of God's plan.
I also believe it is almost certain that either Trump or Hillary was chosen to follow Obama in our White House. I hope and pray that it will be Trump and that it will be good for America. However, like everything else, this election is in God's hands.
If He wants America to suffer for four to eight more years, then His will be done. However, I will do everything I can to prevent that outcome, knowing that (1) God wants us to work toward what we thoughtfully and prayerfully see as good, and (2) I have no risk of overpowering God's will, so my efforts are guaranteed to be harmless or better.
I don’t despise prophets. I despise bloggers. And I get mildly irritated with folks who rely on red text to accentuate a point. And with folks with no sense of humor.
So you don’t despise prophets you just despise the vehicle carrying what the prophet said (either “blogger” or “breaking news” which you also would have objected to) and apparently despise a parry and riposte to your humor. Not much a sense of humor I’d say.
God spoke through Jesus Christ. I don’t believe he is speaking through men any longer. You need to read the Bible.

God appoints ALL rulers over us. He doesn’t ask for our input and doesn’t explain His reasoning. If Donald Trump becomes our president it will be with God’s direction regardless of the fireman’s words or anyone else’s.
The Bible doesn’t say things happen BECAUSE of prophecy. It says prophecy is for “exhortation, edification (strengthening) and encouragement” (1 Cor 14:3). This is meant to ENCOURAGE God’s people and Americans.

I guess my initial reaction is Great News!
I was going to post it myself but did a search and found it had already been posted. 3X actually and this thread was latest post. Interesting to find out the video came out back in April (the first time on F/R), a lot more has come to pass after it was made than I even realized, especially concerning Cruz... I had planned to go find it on youtube to see when it got posted as the link I followed to watch, I could not see that info.
Why are so many on FR confused about the value and purpose of prophecy? It also feels that way to me about economics and the Constitution. If people here are confused about these things, what does that say about the rest of America?
I guess part of my prayer is American's will be reeducated in
1) the truths of grace and the Spirit in the New Testament of the Bible (personal/spiritual freedom),
2) truths about the free market economy (economic freedom - freedom in action), and
3) truths about the Constitution (individual and political freedom).
Reasonably knowing and believing all three will set a person free because knowing "the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).
