It was considered last session. My guess, it’s only a matter of time.

Yes, for now.

Till we get constitutional carry :)

No words anywhere detailing the ARREST of the Police Officer for FELONY KIDNAPPING, FALSE IMPRISONMENT, Using a FIREARM during the Commission of a VIOLENT FELONY....

Not a single word about ALL HIS ACCOMPLICES in the JAIL either.

When they start getting PROSECUTED for Their LAWLESS BEHAVIOR, then and only then will I begin to Respect ANY GANG BANGER WITH A MAGIC BLUE COSTUME

Thus, concealed carry bring ZERO attention, why open carry?

There's plenty of other reasons to open carry, especially when you live in bigger cities or more liberal areas. I've had maybe 20 or so people comment on it, all positively. (One crazy dude even gave me a free copy of his 9/11 truther dvd...) The only time I've felt odd (but this was fun!) was walking around Barton Springs with the old girlfriend. Austin people give you lots of funny looks when they see that sexy 1911 on your hip! As for tactical advantages, try reading the first link I've got below:

Any permit or licensing requirement is a violation of the rights protected by the second amendment, period!

Need a “license/permit” to OC here in PA, too.
My CCW permit doesn’t allow it.

A handgun.

Not a long gun, however.

No doubt. You're puncturing their bubble of alternate reality and reminding them that they're in Texas.
