That was a most excellent post and analysis. I disagree with one point,
Mr. Comey grew angry last week and accused Congressman Trey Gowdy of inferring that the FBIs men and women were weasels.Actually he and his FBI are part of a criminal conspiracy. It is that simple. We are in great danger!

My sole quibble with this post is that the history is not correct.
Sociopaths have always risen to the top.
We have a long and ugly history of corrupt politicians whose motives were self-dealing rather than patriotism.
The new problem is that today the parasites are beginning to kill the host.

The mood of the country today is not unlike that in France in 1789. The desplorables, the sans-coulottes of today, are on the verge of revolution. We might yet see a scaffold on the mall in Washington.
