Excellent Travis! I remember bitterly when Michelle Bachmann used that term (gangster government), and was savaged by the left for it. I don’t think one single Republican went to her defense or stood by her.

You nailed it. The biggest mistake we often make is using the preselected terms of the “establishment” in order to describe who they are. Carroll Quigley referred to them as the “network”, which I guess is as good a term as any. They divide us into false binaries such as republican/democrat, conservative/liberal, traditionalist/progressive, communist/fascist, etc. It gives us the illusion that we have a choice when in reality they are playing both sides of the equation.
