Why Donald Trump Needs to Take a Salary (criticized for not taking salary)

In his first interview as president-elect, Donald Trump pledged that he will accept as little of the presidential salary as he can get away with. “I think I have to by law take $1, so I’ll take $1 a year,” he told CBS’s Leslie Stahl. “$400,000 you’re giving up,” she responded, as if this were some sort of public-spirited sacrifice.

The people in the MSM are mentally ill. According to them Trump is not sacrificing anything by not being paid as President. He is sacrificing if he is getting paid.

The MSM is a reflection of the democrat leadership and they are both comppletely removed from anything real.The MSM has learned nothing by being all wrong about Trump winning the presidency and I am predicting right here and now that Trump will win in the mid term elections in 2 years by even greater margins than he did in this elections.

I agree he should take the salary. He should have asked Leslie, “I’d never ask you to work for nothing, why should I?” It would be better to take the salary and donate blocks, including part to vets and part to crisis pregnancy centers.
