It’s always fun watching left-wing journalists get chewed out.
In this case anticommunist author Humberto Fontova excoriated liberal talking head Soledad O’Brien for her claim that sections of the Cuban population “liked” the recently deceased Communist dictator Fidel Castro.
The friends and family of tyrants tend to do well. It’s when you fall out of favor that’s the problem.
You could say the same about Hitler. Did a lot for german people. Those in power liked that power.
O’Brien and his ilk would not last five days in Castro’s Cuba.

I suspect that the name came from the famous Black Panther prison break in the 1970’s. Soledad State Prison in California
That was 1970.
She was born in 1966.
Plus, she's not really African-American. Her father was White and Australian, her mother, Black and Cuban.
But her mother came over in 1958, before Castro took over. That may help account for Soledad's skewed view of Castro, but it's a strange one for a Cuban-American to have.
