Watch out when the “moderate rebels” start appearing.

If California seceded it would be invaded by Mexico so quickly in would make your head spin. Mexico would claim it is just recovering a portion of “Alta California,” sovereign Mexican territory.

Right about down the San Andreas fault. That could be the border.

No, that won't work. More complicated than that. The San Andreas cuts west into the Pacific just south of San Francisco. San Francisco would then be on the State of Jefferson side to the north. You probably mean the Hayward Fault, which goes north on the east side of SF. But it cuts Berkeley in half, so you still end up with a large portion of liberals on the Jefferson side. That's why I say you need to split the state into 3 to 6 sections, which are largely distinct from each other. An area surrounding SF east to Sacramento. Another area surrounding LA. The northernmost section of California to Jefferson. Central valley to Nevada. At the very least. The San Andreas doesn't split along political lines.

Well I was figuring that maybe we could start fracking after they split away. Start fracking right on the fault and watch em slip right into the ocean.

Oh well..

It may soon violate the compacts clause in the Constitution.

If California left the USA, then who would pay all their bills?>>> more important where would they get the rest of their water.

The Compacts Clause applies to states. The joker who claims to have established an embassy in Russia is not a state and does not represent a state.

Just because lefties are going bonkers does not mean anyone else should go bonkers.
