And they tried so, so hard with their biased, bullsh** reporting too.
Trump should consider releasing the transcript, then refusing to accept the resignation. Do it during a surprise press conference in the afternoon, after all the msm has spent the morning gloating.
Trump and Sessions are about to go draining the swamp. This is a small price to pay as it will set the standard and pave the way through which this administration will begin destroying our domestic enemies.

Price to pay to whom? Even based on the WSJ, NYT, and WaPo, they can’t even say he actually said the word sanctions but more gave an impression things would be different.
So, who leaked the phone call recording?
General Flynn worked incredibly hard for Trump when many wouldn’t and was willing to call out Obama. We’re talking about this particular circumstance, and even the NYT says it was “ambiguous” enough where Trump could keep him.
Do have a substantive response to anything said in the column? There are plenty of Trump supporters who support General Flynn.

Trump was only keeping Flynn around because he was the first general to endorse him in the primaries. Now Bannon will be the sole foreign policy advisor, which is good.

Poorly worded. Flynn lied to Pence. That is precisely why Flynn had to leave. It had nothing to do with the Russians. For it to appear that the NSC Chair outranks the VP and can lie to the VP and get away with it would destroy any presidency.
There are times one admin official will want to give plausible deniability to another official. There are ways to communicate that so that the official in the dark artfully dodges a question. But in this case that was not done. Flynn broke a major rule of any bureaucracy.
In our work in IT we report bugs and security vulnerabilities in the software to the team lead. The team lead who wants to survive and move up the ladder knows how to give those above him plausible deniability. When I was in Vietnam I was in a bastard unit. Bastard units exist in the military precisely to give plausible deniability to the higher ranking officers.
Flynn should know this. He was fired by Obama, not for disagreement on issues, but for incompetence. That was pointed out to Trump by Republicans loyal to Trump when Trump was trying to figure out who would sit in which chair (SOS, DOD, NSC, etc).
He lied to the VP about this and had to go. This administration is setting a new ethical standard that is much higher than OBotulism’s was. In order for Trump to after these crooks and be justified he had to axe Flynn. It is very very important at this time to destroy our internal enemies.
