Rachel Maddow’s Tuesday night stunt over President Trump’s 2005 taxes was a complete joke from start to finish and she deserves to be mocked relentlessly for it.
On Wednesday night, The Late Show‘s Stephen Colbert, who admittedly made his name by doing his best impersonation of Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly, took on the persona of Maddow and hilariously lampooned the MSNBC host over the whole thing.

I still don’t see what this Maddow guy was hoping to accomplish. Even if she had not been scooped on it, what was the point of showing that Trump paid $38 mil in taxes? What was it supposed to prove?
He nailed her mannerisms.
And her dress and hair too.
And the BREAKING NEWS red banner was like a direct copy.
I only heard clips of her 20 minute monologue before the big reveal.
The point seemed to make wild speculations about what could have been contained in the other pages. How much did he make from hotel in Turkey? How much money from Russia? He could be hiding things....yada yada yada.
Typical liberal media hit piece.

Did anyone happen to see him last night, after half the world mocked him and made fun of his nothing burger he promoted so much?
Did he mention it last night? Did he comment on the pushback on his ridiculous WhoreRaldo moment? Was he embarrassed?

Trump was on Tucker Carlson last night at the same time as her show, but knowing her she acted like she scored a huge investigative journalistic victory the previous night.
I don’t ever watch either Maddow or Colbert because life is too short to watch the hateful, but that was funny. And I bet maddow got her pajama boy pajamas on and cried. Which makes me smile.
Time for a Madcow SNL skit. After all, they are her motha ship.
She told the AP it was the viewers fault if they assumed she was going to show something that made Trump look bad.
