Former Fox News firebrand Glenn Beck said of President Trumps newly revised travel ban that he agrees that an Islamist threat exists, but he criticized the White House, Congress and the media for failing to explain the difference between Islamists and Muslims.
In an interview with Alex Wagner on CBSN Thursday, Beck, a prominent never-Trumper who supported Ted Cruzs presidential candidacy, said that the vast majority of Muslims in America are no different than Catholics or Mormons. An Islamist, on the other hand, believes that the Koran supercedes the Constitution or any country and the country must be run by religious rule. He told Wagner that the fallout from failing to differentiate between Islamists and Muslims could have a dangerous cost: We could see some sort of internment camp situation, he predicted, if there is a December 7th.
Beck was referring to the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. We could head someplace weve been before and we dont want to go again, he warned.
Beck, whose manner is now more soft-spoken than it was in the days when he hosted a daily show on Fox News, also worried about the presidents accusations that his predecessor tapped his phones during the election. Mr. Trump has access to all the information he would need to prove it or not, he told Wagner. Theres no reason to create bogeymen, he said, adding that the president should be quiet until he comes up with the evidence. This led to an extended plea for a clear and sane look at Trumps presidency:
Were losing our faith in everything. Its concerning to me that were now going down this road of deep state.(continued)

Phewie.... Is Beck still on the air?
That makes sense because Glenn is nuts.
“Supercedes” is actually spelled “supersedes.”
Spelling counts for people masquerading as writing professionals.
Still on the air, but not in the news.
...he needs a new audience
You spelled unstable alcoholic wrong...
An audience in a sanitarium or asylum.
Neither. He’s an idiot.
*** “Is he a Mormon or a Scientologist?” ***
Nut-burger or a Squirrel turd, either one.
Beck is still alive?
Islam is is a fake western term invented by cowards who don’t have the sacks to face the reality that Islam wants to kill them. Murdering and enslaving the world is so important to them they made it their religion. No amount of hand wringing and tears will keep them from it.
Killing them will.
Get a sack Glenn, they are coming for you.
I suspect that his financial problems have caused him to take in investors who insist on certain tweaks to his editorial policy.
He’s got to keep Samantha Bee interested.
How does one go from making $80 million a year to this?
Well of course he does, he’s Mormon and they are trying to convert them and bring them here...just what we DON’T need!!!
I listen to Beck because he is the only one in the time slot.
That being said, he’s like nails on a chalkboard. Even worse, half his schtick it talking down the economy so he can peddle his gold fund sponsor.
First class schmuck. And .. I .. can’t .. stand .. the .. way .. he .. talks.
You know, 2 or so years ago there came a point where it seemed like he was really going to be huge, maybe take over.
And now HE IS NOTHING.
Never have a seen such a rapid decline, never have I seen one so utterly SELF INFLICTED.
He’s a great lesson.
