Adam Pally, star of the new FOX show "Making History," told TMZ on Wednesday he would like to assassinate President Donald Trump.
After TMZ asked the actor who he would like to "spend an hour with" if he could go back in time, he responded by saying he would "have to" murder our democratically elected president Donald J. Trump.

TMZ: Based on the time-travel element, how far are we away from actual time travel, would you say?TMZ asked him a fun question and he responded by saying he wants to assassinate our democratically elected president -- "or Hitler."
Pally: I don’t know. Soon. Isn’t Elon Musk working on something like that?
TMZ: Very possibly. Instead of asking what time period do you want to go to, if you could go back and spend an hour with anyone in history, who would you want to spend an hour with? And who would you not want to spend an hour with?
Pally: I’d have to kill Trump or Hitler.
TMZ: You don’t have to go too far back for the Trump thing, then …
Pally, backtracking: Maybe I’d have to go back and love them more.
TMZ: Love them more?
Pally: So they wouldn’t do these things.

The most remarkable part about this is that the question was not a set up to slam Trump. It was a totally innocuous question about who he would like to talk to or not talk to if he went back in history. But this guy is such a raging liberal zealot that his mind immediately went to “kill Trump” and “compare Trump to Hitler.”

From the context, this was supposed to be a lightweight, friendly interview about Pally’s new show. Then, Pally suddenly comes unhinged.
Oddly enough, I was asked the same question in a survey I took a couple weeks ago. I responded that I would like to have Thanksgiving dinner with Ben Franklin.
Then again, I’m reasonably sane — at least when not beside myself over reading about the latest in liberal lunacy.
I don’t think this is about politics anymore. I can’t help but speculate that mental illness is sweeping out nation like a 21st century plague.
Malignant narcissism? Maybe I need to read Christopher Lasch’s “The Culture of Narcissism” for the fourth time. He published it 40 years ago and I get more out of it with every reading.
