What in the world has happened to the United States? We are rapidly getting to the point where political correctness is in danger of becoming our national religion. Of course most people would not even call it a “religion”, but for most Americans this unwritten set of rules shapes everything that they think, do and say. Many had been hoping that the spell of political correctness would be broken by the election of Donald Trump, but that obviously has not happened. The forces of political correctness still have a stranglehold on our education system, on all forms of entertainment, on our legal system, and on most of the politicians in both political parties.
The unwritten rules of political correctness are shifting and changing all the time, and if you don’t keep up with them the penalties can be extremely severe.
If you do or say the wrong thing at the wrong time, you could lose your friends, you could lose your job, and you could potentially even lose your reputation.
In fact, there have been numerous people over the past year that have been publicly crucified in the court of public opinion for doing or saying something that was not politically-correct.

Politically-Correct and “offended” at every opportunity, I finally begin to see what is coming, what I had long wondered about, just as it says in Scripture that I was never sure about its meaning or how it would apply for the last days,
“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.” Matthew 24:10
I clicked on the link at #9 (Christian college in MN requesting an end to use of”mankind”) thinking it would be a formerly Christian college like Hamline or Macalester. Nope-it’s my alma mater; Bethel University. A baptist college that is still considered to be a conservative Christian college.
I’m speechless and very sad.
Political correctness is a nice way to say fascism.
There was a time when parents held their kids to account for anything they ever did. Responsibility for actions. Today, except for some good parents, kids are raised to do whatever they want.. no accountability... get out of jail free card... hold everyone else responsible if your child gets into trouble.
Today, political correctness is run on emotion.. on feelings. “Safe space” is run on emotion and feelings.. they cannot deal with what they have wrought. They are afraid, have no boundaries, have no rules, no foundation, have no respect, and are loose cannons. They were not taught to be responsible for their actions .. they want freebies.... that used to be taboo... not any more. Someone who has a paycheck, of which taxes are taken out and sent to Washington... that is what is paying for your freebies.. they are not free! Nothing in life is...
I have never heard of “The End of the American Dream” or Michael Snyder. Does anyone have any additional information?

He’s been around a while. He really really loves making lists.
His facts are pretty solid, his interpretations tend to doomerism though.
PC is normalization of terrorism, when life and security is not as important as ideological nonsense. We are talking here about islamist nurses not disinfecting hands.
Political Correctness has all the earmarks of Chairman Mao tse Zedong’s cultural revolution and Great Leap Forward (Chairman Hillary as the natural successor to Chairman Obama)....i.e....cleaning society of long standing cultural norms....violent class struggle...public shaming of those who oppose the movement....the wealthy and successful become oppressors and the weak and poor become their victims...wealth must be re-distributed...the youth are brainwashed and recruited to enforce the dominant ideology.....the workplace sends dissenters off for cultural re-training....and most importantly, the press, film industry and educational systems are under their control..thank the Lord for Donald J Trump

I’ve always like the work I do in my chosen profession but little by little, I have grown to hate the business and it’s all due to office politics and political correctness.
The Tiny House Movement is not a movement.
It is part of the leftist agenda to force people to use less resources and space, so that they are more easily controlled.
All the programs on TV referencing it are propaganda.
There does seem to be a major dumbing-down of the American Dream and it’s not by any grassroots movement. It’s a top-down feed they have going and they have ‘em eating out of the palms of their hands.
This is why even though we are winning at the elections we still think we are losing all around!
