There was nothing wrong with Don’t ask, don’t tell. It allowed homosexuals to serve so long as they didn’t make an issue out of it and act disruptively, IMHO.
Gay Army secretary clearly put in place to promote gays in the military, which might be OK, depending on who they are, and lesbians in combat, which, my lesbian Army vet neighbor tells me vehemently, is a truly terrible idea. “They can’t do it and they’ll endanger themselves and others.”

Have to wonder if the Dems won’t make another spectacle of themselves, a la Gorsuch, and,in his case,go on endlessly about how he isn’t gay enough. They need to speed up these appointments or Trump is still going to be trying to fill positions three years from now.
