Or one with $329 LED head lights!!! Poor lady nearly fainted when she learned they are not covered under warranty and had burned/crapped out after only 6 months.

(Start using cash and checks or the elite class and bankers will make "cashless" the norm.)

Put a 'follow search' for
what you want on E-Bay.
You'll be surprised at what you can get that's been "Frame Off Restored".
Just make sure it's a model that's easy to get parts for.
But before you bid, make sure the seller has good reviews and takes PayPal.
I'd hunt for a private seller too.
An older model is cheaper to license, cheaper to insure, and simple to maintain ... IF you get one that's easy to get parts for.

It’s easy, if you only know HOW to search.

Then you haven;t owned them very long.
They WILL cost you more ... and not too long from now.

Yep.
I give up on computer vehicles a few years back.
A 1965 Comet, and a 1978 one ton truck, and both are a joy to drive.
But it's hard to go un-noticed.

I’ll keep my old beater until it physically melts and becomes a permanent part of the scenery. It’s new enough to enjoy the things like fuel injection and a reliable Japanese made computer but old enough that I can rebuild the engine on the side of the road.
Although.... I wouldn’t mind a 2015 Toyota Hilux diesel. BUT, for our own protection, those aren’t allowed in the USA.

I don't agree.
My neighbors fix and overhaul their late 40s to late 60s John Deere tractors all the time.
One of our best log pullers is a JD-50 and that big two cylinder has walked off with some fairly large 20 ft water-oaks.
