President Donald Trump may not be in the White House had former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin not blazed the trail for him.
This week, Bernie Quigley observed that Palin “was prelude and harbinger” to Trump’s arrival. He wrote in The Hill that he was reading William Strauss and Neil Howe’s The Fourth Turning when Palin appeared on the national stage. And he said then that “it was possible to see the rise of new political archetypes and forms and they are now upon us.”
“It was not President Donald Trump that brought the age, although he turned the key. It was Palin. And it was she who brought the reawakened spirit of Andrew Jackson, today associated with the rise of Trump,” Quigley wrote.
In 2010, Quigley wrote that the “change that is rising now with Palin” and the Tea Party movement “resembles the rise of Andrew Jackson and the free people of the western regions demanding their place and coming into the country politically.”

The Progressives on the both the left and right couldn't contain themselves in their excitement watching Sarah struggle.
Now, with President Trump they have to contend with something worse.

About the only thing we have to be thankful to Juan McCainez for. And he probly regrets it.
Palin experienced in 2008 and 2009 what the media and deep state would later give to Trump.
Palin did not have Trump’s money and Trumps vast media experience, and of course, like Trump, had zero allies among the treacherous Republic establishment. She really had no choice, as she found the pressure unbearable and resigned as governor due to the Media and Deep State attacks.
If she had found some way through that fire swamp, she would be atop American politics today.
From 2008 to 2012, Palin was the strongest conservative political figure we had.
She could draw out thousands to rallies.
Her endorsements had a 75% success rate, astonishing.
Trump noticed.
Her star diminished, largely self inflicted.
You know the first Trump campaign event I saw back early on in the election cycle I said to myself man this guy sounds like Sarah Palin. Been a Trump fan ever since. He’s close.
She should have stayed in the Alaska Governor’s office and fought the onslaught of Obama-orchestrated lawsuits against her. She would have been elected president in 2012.
The media was scared of Palin and drove her out while giving her the reputation as stupid, etc. They were practicing for something bigger. She was branded and driven out. They are trying to do the same to our president. I remember it was Palin who first to call zero a community organizer. I remember the gasps that day!
John McCain is complicit and agrees.
Sarah Palin hits back.
And President Trump sucker punches them in the back of the head with a 2X4 down a flight of stairs.
It is what they deserve.
Shoulda woulda coulda. There have been many instances of political mistakes made by many fine people over the centuries. Sara’s wasn’t the first.
Conversely, there were a lot of people here who did not like her, but loved Trump. One of the #neverPalin people here is now a huge Trump supporter. I remember battling so many of that crowd, they had such contempt for her.
She and Trump are similar, in so many ways. I'm glad to have gotten on both their trains early. I only wish he had picked her as Secretary of Energy, or even the Interior. Maybe he'll pick her up later down the road when people have served their time in the cabinet.
You know it! It became painfully obvious quite early on in the campaign that she was outshining him in every aspect. He couldn't stand it, and made it clear to his henchmen that she was to be "take care of".

The two biggest mistakes in the history of American politics:
#2: Teddy Roosevelt, before his inauguration ceremony in 1905, declared that he would not serve another term.
#1: The resignation of Sarah Palin as Governor of Alaska, after 2.5 years of her 4-year term, was announced on July 3, 2009 and became effective on July 26.
What Sarah Palin did for me was she pulled the wool off my eyes re: the GOP.
By the GOP’s actions to Palin, it became unignorably obvious that the GOP, as a party, was actually owned and operated by the DNC as a pretend opponent.
And where do you rank Ronald Reagan taking on George HW Bush as his Veep in 1980?

She is not done yet. She will be President after Trump probably in a new Party.
There is a scandal unfolding that will mess up both parties and further change the government as we know it.
I remember the McCain campaign calling to see if I had turned in my ballot. I told them I had and had voted for Sarah Palin. The person on the line paused, said “Uhhhh” and I said I voted for Sarah to be VP, I hate McCain and I hope he dies (of natural causes) in office and Sarah replaces him. Otherwise I would have voted libertarian. The person then said “Uhhhhh, thanks I guess”.
I wonder how that person from the Oregon GOP thinks about McCain now?
