On January 26, 2016, several people, in two private vehicles were on their way to a scheduled meeting....

....they were set upon by modern day highwaymen (highwaymen were people who stopped travelers and robbed them). The driver and passengers of the.. vehicle submitted to the demands of the heavily armed interlopers.....

The driver of the second vehicle, a white pick-up truck ..... sped away, seeking the assistance of a peace office, Sheriff Glen Palmer, of Grant County, Oregon.....

.... the highwaymen had set up a barricade across the road, barring passage. The highwaymen, hidden behind their vehicles, began firing shots......

.....Having already been shot at, there was concern for the safety of the party. Finicum, in an effort to draw fire sway from those still in the truck, began moving toward the rear and away from the truck.....

.....two shots that came from the left-rear of the truck. One hit the top of the truck and one broke the driver side rear window. The round that broke the window may well have hit the side of the truck, pressuring the window to break, and deflecting into the shoulder of Ryan Bundy........ .

... the medical records from Harney District Hospital, in Burns, where Ryan was taken after the highwaymen kidnapped him and the others, except LaVoy, who lay dead where he fell after being shot in the back three times....

.... Some of the language used in various reports from the hospital includes a written notation "consistent with bullet fragment versus other metallic foreign bodies" Then, in two types reports we find 'INDICATIONS: Gunshot wound to right shoulder' and "INDICATIONS: penetrating gunshot wound'. So, based on the X ray and the medical reports made within hours of the shooting, there can be little doubt that the highwaymen shot Ryan Bundy......

While many know that LaVoy Finicum was killed on January 26. 2016 along US Route 395 in Harney County, Oregon, few know that Ryan Bundy was also injured at the same time.

This blog post lays out the story of Bundy's injury and how it relates to the federal government's prosecution of an FBI agent for lying about the shots he fired during the ambush.

Blogger Gary Hunt has done extensive investigation and posted a lot of information related to the Oregon Standoff protest.

His efforts have caused the US Attorney in Oregon to take Hunt to federal court to force him to remove posts that outed FBI informants at the protest.

Hunt was arrested by FBI agents earlier this year to compel his court appearance. Arguments and counter arguments continue in court with no decision yet to force Hunt to remove his posts.

Yes, this is the first time I’ve heard of Mr. Bundy getting shot.

Gary Hunt has dug into the details of the situation, so thanks to him for his work.

I’m glad able to spread the word from him.

He’s gone to jail for his work on the FBI informants and is now fighting the federal demand he take down his blog posts on the informants.

One other thing I picked up from reading the MSM stories and videos from supporters of the protest last year was that Ryan Bundy refused treatment to remove the bullet.

He wanted it to stay there as “evidence” and indeed it is.
