Teflon Don confounds Democrats [own data shows attacks isn't working]

Democrats tried attacking Donald Trump as unfit for the presidency. They’ve made the case that he’s ineffective, pointing to his failure to sign a single major piece of legislation into law after eight months in the job. They’ve argued that Trump is using the presidency to enrich himself and that his campaign was in cahoots with Russia.

None of it is working.

Data from a range of focus groups and internal polls in swing states paint a difficult picture for the Democratic Party heading into the 2018 midterms and 2020 presidential election. It suggests that Democrats are naive if they believe Trump’s historically low approval numbers mean a landslide is coming.

The Democrats are so immersed in their echo chambers, they are resorting to utter nonsense and expecting people to get outraged like them. People just don’t take it seriously. Russians? Racism? Stilettos?
It’s like WWE politics.

Newsies even increased their quarterly negative coverage from 89% to 91% and that didn't seem to dissuade most Trump supporters. It actually seems that his has even more support now.

The Democrats AND the Republicans are confounded by all the low-approval ratings for the President and for Congress.

But, your average MORON knows why all of their performances are lowly-approved: because We The People are starting to realize that our politicians do NOT have OUR best interest at heart! Their lies, excuses, B.S., and attempted blame game/mud-slinging antics are no longer working! For the Dems, it’s even worse because they have to explain why they think illegal immigrants have a RIGHT to be in America, while arguing that Americans don’t have a right to Constitutionally protected rights!!

The GOPe just KNEW that their anti-Obama mantra was going to sweep them into the Presidency! They did everything the Dems are doing now - blame game, mud slinging, personal attacks, etc... It didn’t work!

Both parties need to stop the divisive tactics, come together, and start governing for the good of We The People of the United States!!

A lot of life happens on meeting expectations, it is very important in business which is my field. The democrats have really screwed the pooch on this one, there is no one living and only a very few dead that would match up to their “President Trump is ...” routine, so much overkill, it was bound to fail and yet they kept coming back at it.

I was just watching the discussion of this on Fox and the guests were perplexed by this phenomenon. In fact, one of the guys fell back to "but his approval rating is the lowest ever and democrats are winning special elections now". Interesting that that last part is a lie, almost as if the commentator didn't believe the first part and had to throw in something to add weight to it. The host pointed out that the polling shows that more democrats in districts Trump won are in polling trouble than Republicans in Hillary districts are, but that didn't phase the guest, who started sneering about how Trump tweets have hurt him and how he isn't fit to be president, thus making the articles points while trying to deny them. The other guest was apparently GOPe type, who seems to be invested in the "he's going to fail any day now" philosophy and said Trump needs to listen to folks like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell more.

And I kid you not, the next segment was about how a bunch of GOP congressmen might decide to retire instead of run again, and all the ones they mentioned are ones who have opposed Trump, but the Host completely missed the irony of this based on the previous discussion. Could the message be any more clear that people outside the NY/DC/FED bubble are fed up with people who just can't get anything done and want someone to come in and kick their butts? And they can't figure out how Trump isn't losing support among his base and might be gaining popularity in GOPe and Hillary leaning districts?

It’s like WWE politics.

Not a successful ploy when you're trying to take down a man who is essentially a former WWE ringmaster. Playing right into his hands. But, they believe their own screeching and scribbling, to them he's an idiot. A largely self-made billionaire political neophyte who nonetheless defeated his own party establishment that opposed him and then beat them. His approval rating is rising. All of Congress, Republican and Democrat, is falling. Yep, he's an idiot alright. /s

The Democrats own the “war on poverty”, fifty years of it—a complete and total failure. Anyone who ventures into any major city can see how that worked.

They also own illegal immigration (under-cutting wages for regular working people) and trade agreements (ditto).

They also own gay marriage and federally funded abortion and LBQT “rights” and now tearing down statues of dead white men.

They are in their deep hole—and keep on digging...

The War On Poverty is a quagmire with no exit strategy. Time to pull out.

...

It’s all they have. Trump has done very well with EO’s and legislation. The problems he does have with legislation are due to Ryan, McConnell, and McCain.

1. Trump winning on the big three issues, immigration, economy, trade.

2. Can’t cherry pick, but highly suspicious that Ds have moved up 17 over DT on “cares for people like me,” esp after hurricanes.

3. NONE of the D “signature” issues working: $15 min wage, free college tuition, single payer.

4. Even Celinda Lake admits people think Trump “keeping his promises” and “is shaking things up.” She admits Ds lose that.

Now, folks: if this is what D pollsters admit to publicly, they are in deep, DEEP dodo privately. You can bet it’s much worse. You can bet the memos going to the state HQ are: “prepare for a bloodbath.”

The answer is easy! People despised school bullies and that is what the establisment has become ..bullies!!! Even to the point that the newest baby Trump was also bullied!!!
they continue to bully this poor man to death BUT the American people are fed up with it! And are slowly turning against the Liberals Hollywood the media you name it sports the music industry ... I refuse to watch any of them or give one red cent... I only watch the Dallas Cowboys and that’s it nothing else! If they ever become political they too will be thrown into the trashcan!

Democrats picked on Melania Trump.

Surprisingly, that didn’t work, so they picked on Barron Trump.

Surprisingly, even that didn’t work, so they picked on Barron Trump.

Even more surprisingly, that didn’t work, so they picked on newborn baby Eric Luke Trump.

None of that worked, but they tried #FakeNews and innuendo about “Russia”.

Surprisingly, that didn’t work, so they tried #FakeNews and innuendo about unfit for office.

Even more surprisingly, that didn’t work, so they tried #FakeNews and innuendo about not passing major bills.

If I didn’t know better, I might guess that Americans don’t trust anything politicians or their propagandists in the media say on their orders. If I didn’t know better, I might guess that Americans don’t like bullies who pick on women and children. If I didn’t know better, I might guess that Americans don’t want even more legislation to make government bigger. If I didn’t know better, I might agree with the author - the democrats (and several RINOs) just might be in deep trouble next year.

It worked on Nixon, Quayle, Poppy, Dubya and Palin, to varying degrees, so why not Trump?
