More news is coming out this morning on Stephen Paddocks, and it is not as cut and dried as I thought. This is a very complex case, and it seems everyone is reporting different aspects of the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States.
Paddocks did not act alone. FBI reports there are many significant leads around the world with many flights taken by more than one person all over the world. Possibly, and this is just my opinion, many of Paddocks gambling trips could have been a cover for arms deals and terrorist connections. Was he gunrunner who sold guns to jihadists? The attack could have been worse. Interestingly, jet fuel isn’t that easy to ignite.

Wow. This could have been 1000 times worse than it was. I wonder if had intended to plant the tannerite next to the tanks to set them off and if so why didn’t he or did he?

But if he had 50 pounds of Tannerite next to those tanks in the right geometric configuration. He could have touched them off.

The author of this article is purely speculating.
I think his plan was to shoot the tanks, drive the people towards him at the Mandalay, then shoot his car with 50lb of tannerite and kill more from that explosion. Another idea is that he intended to shoot the car and use that as a diversion to escape.
Maybe he didn’t realize it was jet fue- l just saw tanks
