The author of this is most definitely correct. I wonder why these women made up this insane tale.

The engine it had, as I understand it, is mostly useful for puttering around the harbor, not oceangoing for three weeks. That’s what the sails are for.
I don’t think so....cuz they said BOTHY engines broke down.
A look at the article never mentions plural engines. It’s always ‘the engine.’
They can still do the movie, except now its a comedy.
No matter...They said the engine was wrecked by a vicious storm. The weather bureau said....no storm girls. Sorry.
I hope you’ll read the article. A boat’s engine is located in the bottom of the boat, away from any sea spray, and built to get wet, anyway. In order to have enough water in the bottom of the boat to knock out the engine, the boat would be on the verge of sinking.

A reverse movie can be made. One that exposes their lies.
I saw a reverse movie at an underground theater in Dallas in the mid-1960s. It started with a bomb blast. Then the bomb was sucked back up into the bomber and flown back to the base, where the bomb was removed. It was then eventually taken apart with the components smelted into ore which was returned to the earth. Kinda cool.
The other feature had someone carrying a camera down city sidewalks showing only what the camera saw. The sound track was replaced by blood-curdling screams. It helped to be hammered.
Gilligan’s Island was much better.
The long hair. HOW did they wash it? with sea water?
According to the article, it would take a long time to desalinate water and it seems such a waste just for washing hair.
Dunno, but if I were at sea for a long time,I think I’d cut my hair because of the upkeep. Maybe they didn’t bring scissors.
I think the two stopped by some place for a few months. They weren’t at sea the entire time.
Hoax to try for a book and movie deal. to be entitled
Lesbian Love and the High Seas
The engines will run until water gets all the way up to the intake ports
