Could this be breaking news for the M3 Folding Glock? Have you seen this? In its folded configuration for concealment carry its no larger than a cell phone footprint with a 22 round. (9mm)
The deployment is quick with one swift motion, one in the pipe is ready to fire.

Am I badly informed, or are a .22 and a 9mm considerably different? Is 22 caliber standard with an option of 9mm?

It is written incorrectly. In the video he states 22 rounds of 9mm.

The article should probably read, "with a 22 round magazine."

I’ve got a bunch of glocks ya don’t have to know origami to use ...... close as I get to gimmicky glock mods is a .22LR conversion slide assembly and mags, also a 50GI slide assembly and mags. 50GI from Guncrafters Industries is a great BBQ gun.
