Bunkerville Standoff: The Democrat Judge, The Republican Prosecutor And Doing The Right Thing

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas once told a group of Washington DC high school students that his toughest cases were those where "his heart said one thing and the law said something else".

US District Judge Gloria Navarro's "heart" was revealed in her blind acceptance of prosecution pronouncements at the first two Bunkerville Standoff trials, only to be blindsided by the sudden release of torrents of evidence as the third trial got underway.

Navarro went through the first two trials accepting there was no evidence justifying self-defense (the Second Amendment) as a defense for the six defendants.....

She has seen the new evidence and decided it gives the defendants traction in their assertion of self-defense....

...armed Bureau of Land Management agents around Bundy Ranch and a period from April 5-8, 2014 when the FBI set up a Forward Operating Base, ran surveillance camera operations and posted 20 plus heavily armed agents ("snipers") in the area........

.....we have the lead prosecutor, Acting US Attorney Steven Myhre, who I call the Republican prosecutor because he was roundly endorsed by the Republican US Attorney General Jeff Sessions during a July 12th visit to Las Vegas.

Sessions praised Myhre's "leadership" in the case saying he was "standing up and defending the office and the principles of the law".

Its become very clear in recent weeks that Myhre withheld evidence from the defense and tarnished the office and the principles of the law.

Myhre has been over the top bombastic throughout the trials describing the defendants as the "most dangerous of criminals" as Ryan Bundy put it in a recent media interview.

Myhre asserted at the beginning of the current trial that the Bunkerville Standoff case is about "law and order", something Republicans have been talking about since the end of the 1960's.......

The third Bunkerville Standoff trial in Las Vegas resumes tomorrow (Monday December 11th).

The federal case is falling apart with a torrent of new evidence suddenly appearing at this trial involving key defendants Cliven Bundy, Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy and Ryan Payne.

Will the politically aligned judge or prosecutor do the right thing in this case?

Great recap of the case. Trump has ignored this case & also the plight of our military guys who are now fighting murder & sundry other charges for trying to fight a war against an un-uniformed enemy. I wish there was someone at his shoulder telling him these people ALL need relief.

Who can we get to go to bat for them?

These men are political prisoner’s and I also wish Trump would pardon them.

We should try to get Bannon interested in this story.

Happy to see this occuring, after Ruby Ridge, and Waco I find the Federal Agencies to be arrogant, untruthful, and without moral compass.

Am watching X-FILES reruns and their FBI bureaucracy and administers are true to form.

“Will the politically aligned judge or prosecutor do the right thing in this case?”

I think that Trump et al has dirt on Navarro, that’s why she will flip. The Bundys’ are sitting on dingy Harry’s fiefdom that owes fealty to the Chicoms. Navarro was used to go after the Bundys and stifle the real story that Ried, 0bama and the klintoons were selling out to our enemies for profit.

Earlier this year Ted Nugent and the Sheriff I forget the guys name who leads the “Constitutional Sheriff’s” or something like that noted there were a lot of cases out there but I felt like I was getting more of a pep talk to calm me down than a call to action.

We need to be visible and communicate this to all federal, state and local officials.

Why don’t larger crowds show up in Vegas during this trial.

Take time out from vacation plans there in the weeks ahead to be at the trial.

This week and next the trial is in session.

They may have sessions going there during the Christmas-New Year week, so heck vacation in Vegas and stand with the other folks outside the courthouse.

We can’t cover Republican rump again. Besides spending too much money and bankrupting the country and hating Donald Trump and Roy Moore, they are supporting prosecution and persecution out West by not acting.

Who here remembers that Eric Holder was an Asst Attny General to Janet Reno, and HE was the one who pushed for the Feds to go into Waco after Koresch.

Sheriff Mack? I’m not too far from Vegas being in Southern Idaho, but it sure is hard to get away to attend court & the protests. I guess all we can do is keep sending letters to congress-critters over ALL the injustices going on & trying to get them to apply pressure to the DOJ or wherever. It’s just so aggravating to see it going on. And on. And on...

Harry Reid was getting something from someone to do something.

But he’s gotten the loot and has left office, maybe he’s lobbying for more now in retirement.

The Republicans who I don’t believe care very much are in power now.

Ryan Zinke at Interior and Jeff Sessions at Justice.

Back away from hurting the Bundys and those who support them, gentlemen.

If they aren’t willing, President Trump needs to issue blanket pardons all over this.

I consider President Trump to be independent of the GOP and even if he told me to support RINO’s, I won’t.

Roy Moore is not controlled by the political machine, either.

We need more like them in Washington.
