Until they realize there will be no actual repercussions. Then they just laugh like a Clinton as they skate.
So, after all is said and done, I get a good laugh out of it. Sometimes, that is important.

With all due respect, I didn’t come here for comic relief in the form of ankle-biting little congress critters being clickbait marketed as B2 bombers.
So why don’t we see any results of all his power?
Sure he looks great grilling people, but so what, it seems no different than getting a dressing down from a parent or a boss.

As has been said before, he’s a congressman, not a prosecutor. All he can do is interrogate, make people s#it their pants, and then make recommendations to people that can actually prosecute.
Again, Gowdy does not have the power to prosecute. If he were to be appointed as attorney general, then a LOT of people would be subpoenaed, indicted and thrown in jail.
Any idea who the chick on the left is?

He doesn’t have ‘power’ like you’re thinking. He’s a congressman, not a prosecutor. Don’t you know how bad it would be if congress could prosecute? We’d still have 0bama and the Constitution would be a thing of the past.
Gowdy is a congressman, not a prosecutor.
Gowdy can investigate and bring the results of his investigation to the public and to the AG.
Jeff Sessions would then need to act. But of course Sessions can't act because he recused himself for all matters connected to Hillary.
Then why have hearings? I mean seriously, whatever if anything comes from all the show boating? I understand that he is a congressman not a prosecutor and again I ask why have hearings if there is no follow through?
