Starting with the first day of 2018, California officially became USs first and largest sanctuary state, as a brand-new sweeping immigration law started producing effects on Monday, January 1st. The new law dubbed SB54 passed through the states legislature back in September. After DEM Governor Jerry Moonbeam Brown signed it into law in October, we can safely presume that California just took one step closer to secession from the Union, and we are not mincing words here.
The problem with SB54 is that Californias police will no longer be allowed to participate in federal immigration enforcement actions, nor to ask people about their immigration status or cooperate with federal immigration officials. And this happens in US largest state, which also has, by far mind you, the largest illegal alien population. Besides SB54, California passed and enacted a number of additional laws which are aimed at safeguarding illegal aliens and their children from Trumps administration relatively tough (as in normal) enforcement of federal immigration laws.

F’ing leave already.
Maybe all the politicians who have voted to make the State or cities sanctuary zones should be arrested on Sedition and Obstruction of Justice charges and housed in GiTMO.
So, stop all Federal funds to Cali till they leave.
It will be much easier to build a wall along California’s eastern border than it would be to build a wall along the Pacific coast.
We're gonna need a longer wall.
What’s taking the assholes so long?
Another “step closer”? ROTFL. More fake, garbage news from LaLaLand.
I have no problem with that as long as Californians get to stop paying taxes to Moscow on the Potomac and send them instead to Sacramento.
I am all for secession.
I want them to leave as badly as the want to go.
Keep the southern 1/3 of the state and exclude all property 10 miles west of the colorado River.
We need to keep the deep water port of San Diego and California has already been violating treaties regarding water rights from the Colorado river.
“Fing leave already.”
No. That land is valuable and is part of the Union. If they hate the Union so much, if their people there want to be out of the Union so badly, they can move somewhere else.
Well unless you live in CA it is not up to us it’s up to them.
CA can leave, every square in of it. AMF already. We will lease back the military bases and they can join NATO. Easy peasy.
Calexit is coming.
Bye bye 55 electoral votes. I can live with that. :)
I think if California does secede the President should add them to the list of countries whose refugees we will not accept. Good luck, Hollywood!
That’s not secession. That’s anti-commandeering, which is a legitimate form of nullification. It’s *stupid* in this case, but still legitimate.
..the northern Jefferson counties can re-enter as the 50th state—even swap...
But make no mistake, the Democrat party will have none of this since they will never win a presidential election again without California's 55EVs.
