Newsweek reports sarcastic explanation of Allahu akbar as a message of love as if it were serious
Jul 18, 2018 9:02 am By Robert Spencer
UPDATE: Newsweek has, without notice, edited its article, so that it now says sarcastically in the Gad Saad section. Jihad Watch reader Joe, who alerted me to this, notes that it is hilarious because now the comment makes no sense in the context of the article. How is it a rebuke to Dawkins for Gad Saad to use sarcasm to agree with him on Twitter?
But unfortunately for Newsweek, I took a screenshot of the original article. Here it is:
Rather than quote some of those world famous people on their take on Islam , our press wants to quote Muslim apologists like Geo.Bush, Obama ., the Pope, and a host of European leaders to avoid facing up to the realities of Islam which is to subjugate , convert or kill anyone anywhere that does not accept Allah as God and Muhammad as his prophet. -Tom
A quote from an 1899 book by Winston Churchill, "The River War", in which he describes Muslims he apparently observed during Kitchener's campaign in the Sudan
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.
Be careful, Some folks that quote the Koran in Europe may find themselves under arrest.
Well said Major Tom. I did not watch part 2 yet but part one has a few idiot apologist leaders in it to include that great leader and philosopher 0bama.
Know Islam, no peace. No Islam know peace.

The 1st and best quote I ever heard about Islam was at church as a child where I was warned that moslems hated me and wanted to kill me because I was a Christian...
this was during the 50s...
and you can quote me ...its true...
When you read the Koran to help figure out what Islam is about, remember the chapters are not in order.
Since Muhammad spent about 13 years in Mecca preaching without using strong arm tactics he had about 150 converts to Islam . Then he had to flee for his life to Medina about 200 miles to the north where he drastically changed the conversion approach by killing resisters. That brought in thousands of converts in the next ten years.(I guess the sword is more persuasive than the tongue)
So instead of having the peaceful Mecca chapters come first in order and then having the more violent and aggressive Medina chapters come later, the chapters are mixed up and not in order.
This allows the Muslim apologists to select some of he peaceful Mecca quotes to offset the later Medina chapters which call for violence against us infidels. - Tom
Churchill is the best Statesman of modern history.
I was just recently watching someone saying the same.
My prior understanding of the Koran was that everything was chronological and the violence in the earlier chapters were superseded by the later Hadiths etc.

Without a doubt.
0bama had sweet words unrelated to his actions. Trump has not so sweet words 100% aligned with his actions.
Trump any day.
The only quote that matters. Tells the world everything it needs to know about Islam.
