It's been a long standing issue with Facebook which they have never addressed. "Facebook (Still) Letting Housing Advertisers Exclude Users by Race After ProPublica revealed last year that Facebook advertisers could target housing ads to whites only, the company announced it had built a system to spot and reject discriminatory ads. We retested and found major omissions. "

Some pretty basic stuff that should raise alarm bells for any publication but Farcebook accepted the adds with question.

"....Last week, ProPublica bought dozens of rental housing ads on Facebook, but asked that they not be shown to certain categories of users, such as African Americans, mothers of high school kids, people interested in wheelchair ramps, Jews, expats from Argentina and Spanish speakers. All of these groups are protected under the federal Fair Housing Act, which makes it illegal to publish any advertisement “with respect to the sale or rental of a dwelling that indicates any preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.” Violators can face tens of thousands of dollars in fines. Every single ad was approved within minutes...." https://www.propublica.org/article/facebook-advertising-discrimination-housing-race-sex-national-origin

And this article is from November 2017, so it's been going on for a long time.

"We don't discriminate; it's in our policy."

We all know the non-discrimination thingy doesn't apply if you are a conservative.

Seems it also doesn't apply if you are paying for an ad?

"Do as I say, not as I do."
