What’s with all these vanity posts on FR lately?
It’s the sterility of the current news, IMNO. Even I can write more interesting stuff. Any of us can. And so we try. Been a little while since I did it, I think - but I’ve got one stuck in my craw right now that just might come out in vanity form soon.

I think it’s a great idea.

DiFi certainly needs to be thrown off the committees she is now a member of.

To all you naysayers who think this is a vanity post/subject: Throwing Finestein out of the senate would be a big STATEMENT. Ok? It would show that we mean business.

Keeping DiFi would be better than voting in an outright socialist. If the Republicans hold Congress in the elections DiFi won’t matter any more. If they lose nothing will matter any more. If the Socialist wins along with the other avowed socialists around the country and the Republicans hold Congress then we have a REAL problem. The Democrat Party will become officially the Social Democrat Party in the 100-years-ago Russian and German sense. This final transformation, cosmetic but portentious, must lead to increasing violence and an authoritarian military government or an outright Communist Revolution and government.

The dirty secret in California is that Republicans have NO POLITICAL POWER whatsoever. None. Republicans can’t throw anybody out. California is a one-party Democrat Party state. The GOP does not exist here.

Perid. End of story.

When it’s a choice between two Democrats, vote for the one with no seniority.

Keep posting as you are.....if we had a truly balanced media...that’s another story...but, now is the time for freedom of speech and postings that are as legitimate as any media article or commentary..period!!! The complaining, crying, naysayers on FR can take a walk as far as I am concerned. No one is forcing them to read your or my postings.

Why exchange an old communist for a younger one?

“We have a choice between her and her Democrat opponent.”

Great. What do Californians prefer, dog food or cat food?

The last election we were forced to vote between two Dems and ended up with Kamala. I’d rather vote for Cox for governor, keep DiFi, wait for her to be impeached, indicted, or fall ill and have Cox replace her than have deLeon who could end up in the Senate for years to come.

She should be. If she hasn’t turned over the original letter Grassley needs to send the senate Sgt at Arms to retrieve it.

She should be hanged, drawn and quartered. OK, I’d settle for tarring and feathering.

In California, which is so liberal they make no bones about lying and cheating the constituents, and always get away with it, they media is protective of them with people like all the major TV networks, all the cable nets with even help from FOX which is now owned by Disney. They say that Disney does not own the news section of the network. It is owned by NewsCorp, of which Murdock owns aboput 29% of the stock. Interesting one of the voting stock members is Al-Waleed bin Talal, of the Saudi Royal Family. When NewsCorp came from overseas, Murdock was primary in getting it established. The company’s Board of Directors consists of 16 individuals:

Rupert Murdoch (Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer)
José María Aznar (Former Prime Minister of Spain)
Natalie Bancroft (Director)
Peter Barnes
James W. Breyer
Chase Carey (President and Chief Operating Officer)
Elaine Chao
David F. DeVoe (Chief Financial Officer)
Viet Dinh
Sir Roderick Ian Eddington
Joel I. Klein (Executive Vice President)
James Murdoch (Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Europe & Asia)
Lachlan Murdoch
Álvaro Uribe (Former President of Colombia)
Stanley S. Shuman (Director Emeritus)
Arthur M. Siskind (Director Emeritus, Senior Advisor to the Chairman)

Quite a “diverse” little group isn’t it?
