The View’ co-host and attorney Sunny Hostin, arguing against due process, said on Thursday's show that “a woman's word is enough” and that she has taken cases to trial based on a woman's testimony and no witnesses. She said you don't need a witness, all you need is “someone’s truth.”

Tell that to Emmett Till and all the black men who were lynched solely based on a woman’s (false) testimony of sexual assault.

What she doesn't say is what the outcome of the trials were.

I would say your guess is right the majority of the time. For the cases that were actually successful, probably one of two reasons: either the guy admitted it (no other evidence/witnesses needed), or it was a college board fight, and the only result was the guy being kicked out of school (but no real legal trouble).

The lawyer doesn't care if she's telling the truth or not as long as they're getting paid.
Who turns down an easy $2500-$3000 (estimate on my part) even when the outcome is highly doubtful? (as long as they inform their customer client up front of the situation)

Assuming what she says is true, and women never lie, she indicates these are criminal trials. Guilt beyond reasonable doubt but with the victim unnamed in the documents and little prior conduct allowed to be cited. Kind of kangaroo court IMO. If not a criminal case consider a civil issue where it is preponderance of evidence for example paternity. That is like a kangaroo court on steroids when a wyman’s word is the deciding factor.
