Neither Poppy nor ‘W’ ever lifted a finger to elevate the Republican Party or Conservatism in general while I office. I was frustrated with both of them for their seeming lack of any central governing philosophy.

GHWB was a good man, but his distancing and failure to keep the Reagan Revolution alive brought us Bill Clinton. And, then, GWB’s failures brought us Barack Obama. Pretty much all of today’s cultural problems can be laid at the feet of Bush failures.

“If there was one thing it seemed most Americans could agree on this weekend it was that former President George H.W. Bush was generally a good man who had the country’s best interest at heart.”

They tried to sell the same line for McCain. This is how the media views those who betray Republicans in the most profound and insidious ways.

GHWB was one of the most evil criminals in the history of mankind. His New World Order program was all but explicitly Satanic, and countless innocents have suffered and died as a result of the pursuit of it.

Behar used her time during the segment to praise Pres Bush for the Clean Air Act he passed and that how Pres. Trump was undoing all of it and that now there is pollution. McCain said she wanted to stay on topic re: Pres. Bush and not talk about Pres. Trump.

“He seemed to be coming from a loving, kind place also,” Joy Behar added of Bush Sr. “That's what I’m gleaning from what they're talking about, that he was loving.”

Yeah because at 76 she was too young and dumb to glean any of her own thoughts about him when he was President. Well she is much older now, but still as dumb. At least some things never change.

I remember Bush blamed losing his 1992 re-election on Alan Greenspan & the Fed for keeping interest rates sky high after Bush raised taxes to fix the deficit, which was meant to drive down interest rates. Bush raised taxes under the belief that Greenspan would slash interest rates immediately & when the Fed kept rates high, Bush claimed to have been double-crossed. The press then claimed that Bush was “just like Hitler” to blame a “Jewish banker” for HIS bad economy, but the press did not say the same about President Clinton, who blamed the Fed for losing the House of Representatives in 1994 by hiking interest rates & nearly causing another recession after Clinton raised taxes in 1993.
Think about this: Back in the 1990s, it was claimed that tax increases to narrow budget deficits would drive down interest rates, but the Fed kept rates high on Bush then raised them under Clinton.....and the Fed raised its funds rate to 6.5% trying to slow down the late 1990s economy that led to a budget SURPLUS....because Greenspan did not want the national debt paid off “too fast” in his opinion.
The Fed kept its funds rate at zero when Obama was running trillion dollar deficits all those years, but now the Fed believes it must hike rates fast plus unwind its 4.5 trillion balance sheet fast all of the sudden for fear of sudden runaway inflation, even though the Fed is tasked with the dual mandate of maintaining maximum employment as part of its dual mandate & when most economists now believe that there is no way to know what “full employment” is & most economists believe that there is NO point where inflation “accelerates” like an out of control driverless tractor-trailer going downhill.
It is impossible to make any sense of Fed actions over the years, but let it be said that Fed chairman often comment on fiscal policy & it is NOT uncommon for presidents and Congress to “jawbone” the Fed or criticize its actions. Greenspan made tiny little baby steps when lowering and raising his key rates because he didn’t really know what he was going or what effect it would have......but effects are cumulative....and a rate increase from 13% to 20% is NOT a big as raising rates from zero percent to 4%......or from 1% to 5.25% as the Fed did to George W Bush from 2004-2006, essentially putting the brake pedal slowly to the floor all during the Bush recovery & after inflation wasn’t even any problem.

GHWB promised a thousand points of light, after watching the View (metaphorically, I didn’t, wouldn’t be prudent) I can say for a fact that we are a thousand points short.

Maybe even a thousand and five.

Read my lips, no new Demublicans. Or Repucrats.

GHWB was a new world order globalist, who openly desired to subsume the sovereignty of the United States beneath the authority of the United Nations.

Did you never even bother to listen o the speeches he gave afer the Soviet Union collapsed? Can’t you boher to read transcripts today?

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

“I loved his relationship with the press because we talk about that a lot on this show—they were tough on him, it's not like they were easy—but he had such a respect for what they did,” she said.

(Snicker, Snicker!) Of course you did. He didn't fight back. Trump doesn't take your snide sh%t and it pains you to no end.

MAGA, baby! MAGA!
