Here is a web site that shows the
difference in taxes and production costs.
Production cost of diesel used to be much less than that of gasoline.
Only 48% of the cost of diesel is in the crude oil.
57% of the cost of gasoline is in the crude oil.

Here they “harvested” enough Votes to beat Prop 6 on the November Ballot that would have rolled back Moonbeam’s $.12 a Gallon Gas Tax (on top of the already ridiculous Gas Taxes) and the increased Vehicle Registration Fees.
I just paid $309 to Register my 2015 Car, up over $50 from last year.

Sure hope Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters and the rest of the Democrats can screw that up.
I mean, let’s not have extra dollars to spend in the American economy and like create jobs or nothin’.

$28 for a 2012 car in Missouri. But we do pay $111 in personal property tax on it, a truck and a motorcycle. (We voted down a proposed gas-tax hike last month.)

Now it’s $1.89 in South Carolina & I just spent a month laid up at home when it had been $2.49. It was amazing to see.

When they finally turn America into a communist cesspool they will frog march all these media toadies to one of their gulags, for they will be the first to be eliminated. They will be a major threat to the new socialists. Be careful what you wish for. As for the gas prices, must have been Obama’s doing, eh?
