I like your tagline, LOL.
I think the boomers beat them to it.
“I like your tagline, LOL.”
Well, since you’re the first FReeper out of thousands of Freepers who commented on my tagline, I’m going to tell you origin of that tagline. It will never be told again, because it’s quite embarrassing.
Twenty years ago my friend, John, called me and said I want to take my son, John Jr., on a fishing trip. Can I borrow your tackle box?
Well, hell yeh, John. Need any fishing rods, I asked.
Any you can spare will be appreciated by me, my son and the good Lord above, John said.
So I loaned John about $2,000 of tackle and rods.
Two weeks later he returned from his fishing trip with John Jr.
I noticed that my tackle box was a bit light. I opened it up and pretty near all the lures were gone.
Did, perchance, some big walleyes and muskies bite the lures and disappeared?
No, John said, I was thirsty and sold all your lures and bobbers for beer.
I didn’t kill the SOB because his son was standing there. I swallowed my rage and headed back home.
So now the story of my tagline has been told.
Geez, what a tale. Didn’t know it was based on real life.
I thought it was kinda like no good deed goes unpunished.
Like when I got deployed in 2003 I heard all kinds of sob stories about heavy debt and since I was a widowed warrant officer I was some kind of rich SOB and had no one else to be kind to. What a ration of s**t those stories turned out to be. They mostly got busted once we got back to the world so I guess it’s true that karma’s a b**ch.
God blessed me with a new wife & we celebrated our anniversary today. I have learned to count God’s blessings.
Hope all is well with you and yours. Take care, FRiend.
And, of course, the only logical next step; why pay to keep these Trump supporters alive? Exterminate.
