All across the West, leftist governments are trashing democracy and human rights in their own countries.
Polling suggests that the Austraian Labor Party, lead by Bill Shorten of Maribyrnong, will defeat the conservative government of Prime Minister Scott Morrison in Australia next May.

How does this compare with what left leaning governments do to their own people and society in America?
That’s any country and any leftist government.
Canada is being rapidly taken over by “refugees” and immigrants. Immigration is great when done correctly, and the locals are working. If you start slamming people into an already decimated economy, then things get very nasty.
Leftists are globalists. You might as well call them what they are. They are in league with the UN and their calls for the global government and all that fun stuff. We are in dark days.
New Zealand's greatest generation faced the impending Japanese attack on the beaches armed with axes and crowbars when they could find no better weapon.
The Australians were every bit as valiant.
Today their most shameful generations are confused and suicidal.
What a difference between the heroic, valiant, ascendant New Zealander and Australian of the 1940s and the ignominious, confused decadents of 2019! Pray that the decadents are only a small percentage of the population of Australia and New Zealand and that heroism, moral clarity, and ascendancy still prevail!
The following, recorded by James Michener, quotes a man from New Zealand, speaking to American and New Zealander troops stationed on the islands north of New Zealand, as the forces of the Japanese Empire closed in on New Zealand in the early stages of World War II:

And the 150 to 180 million sane Americans can defeat them all.
Or at the very least keep our way of life the way we like it here.
And there are other beacons of hope.
Brasil. Austria. Other Eastern European countries.
France and England haven’t completely played out and there may be blood shed before we know who won over there.
I have great faith in God and Trump and the majority of Americans.
We have faced brutal times and brutal enemies before.
That will never end. And the fight will never end.
But we won’t lose.

Western Canadians won’t lay down either, but there is a rapid global push going on. I think they realize people are waking up and are in a hurry to clamp down. The acceleration the last five years alone has been mind boggling.
I don’t know the political geography of Canada. But that is good to know.
Blood may indeed be spilled in many countries before all is said and done.
But one person who HATES to be told what to do AT ALL by government is equal to any five who would bow, in a fight.
We fight for reasons they could never understand.
And they hate us for it.

Until you get to the very West, as in Vancouver, as I understand it...then not so conservative. But yes, everything else west of Ontario is very conservative - but same problem that we have, simply not enough people, when compared to Ontario and Quebec (and the Maritimes).
Vancouver is a cesspool.
It’s unfortunate we don’t have an electoral system like the US. The majority rules here, and the west has no say, so it’s essentially mob rule and that in itself is just another form of tyranny.
That is why the DemocRATS want to eliminate the electoral college
change the Republic into pure popular vote
and turn it into "mob rule" by popular vote.
Now imagine that the liberal mob media get into bed with a particular political party
like the media fashioned during the Obungo years, and then imagine what the outcome would be.
Preserve the Republic, at any cost.
The "Founding Fathers" knew exactly what they were creating, how to maintain the country, and preserve freedom !
As I drove around rural Australia in 2017 and 2018, I saw dilapidated and boarded up churches.
Rooms named for gun clubs, now that the clubs were defunct, Range road where there was no range anymore.
I saw a gun culture that was vibrant and growing, knowledgeable about its part in national defense, changed into a gun culture hounded and subservient, (but still growing, in a stunted way).
Australia is a very secular culture. The media is anti-Christian. There is very little alternative media.
I love Australia and Australians. If only they could have a channel that was conservative; if only they had something similar to Rush or to Freerepublic.
Maybe it exists.
Maybe it is being created.
I have not seen it yet.
Australia is still very much a Mediacracy.
