There’s a Tom, Hen and 3 youngn’s that come by every day to feed on seed I toss out for the squirrels and birds.
And there’s three spotted fawns and a doe that hangout the in the backyard every so often.
Getting crazy up here - the deer had a light winter and a very pleasant summer and the population shows it. The wolves will dine this winter...
Yeah, and every rabbit is “Thumper’’.
Two raccoons woke me in my bedroom last night! One stood on hind legs and looked at me like “go back to sleep “. Wasn’t scared of me at all. Got them out and one kept trying to come back in. I do not eat in my bedroom so they had no food source there. My room was just an easy room for them to get to. I have to call a raccoon control specialist tomorrow. Don’t want them eating my dogs.
Was just up in the Finger Lakes and the wild turkey were all over the place.
I had a doe and 2 Bambi’s in the yard watching me today, I guess I need to shoot them and burn down the Forest now.

There are more deer in our county than there were back in 1776. Because back then if one wandered into your yard you took down the musket hanging over the fireplace or propped by the back door and harvested some venison. Today the only predator on them in most places is the automobile.
She must have wandered across “RUT-ger”’sCampus!
I live in NJ and the deer and Turkeys are all over in South Jersey. I have hit three deer and all three “bounced” off the car and ran off. I was so close to hitting one,I closed my eyes ready for impact or possible death and it turned tail avoiding death. Deer are absolutely retarded at dusk,early morning and rutting season.
