Trump’s trade and immigration policies are different from past presidents. All other foreign policies are the same.
All recent presidents have promised moving the embassy to Israel’s capital. The only difference is Trump did it.
Most recent presidents have dreamed of building a Sunni alliance that would tacitly recognize Israel. The only difference is that Trump did it.
All recent presidents have said we need to stand up to terrorist regimes like N Korea while at the same tuime being open to negotiation. The only difference is Trump did it.
All recent presidents have made it official policty that Western Europe should finance more of its own defense. The only difference is that Trump did it.
Now, immigration and its impact on foreign affairs and trade pacts and tariffs are quite different between Trump and his predecessors, in both word and deed.
Let’s be honest about Foreign Policy.
