I’m really looking forward to this. He rarely gives interviews, so not many people know what he is like, aside from the public lynching of the Anita Hill fiasco. I was surprised when I watched his interview two years ago on the Ingraham Angle. He is relaxed, funny, engaging, brilliant, confident and humble. Watching this interview significantly added to my already great respect for this living legend. It’s definitely worth the time to find and watch this interview.

I grew up in the segregated South, where signs at a Public Swimming Pool read “Negroes not Permitted”. I would visit some grandparents in Ohio where the signs at the Pool read “We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone we choose”, and the pools were just as lily white and in the South.

It amazes me that dim/socialists still claim republicans/conservatives are racist with all the accolades on this thread for a man of character, and not of color. I’m seeing many more black men of late telling their race to be good responsible citizens and move away from the failed policies of the left. I’m encouraged.

I had the honor of chance meeting of Justice Thomas at a Cigar Aficionado Magazine convention at a DC Hotel. Cigar in hand, he was pleasant, shook my hand, and jokingly asked me about my home town and other small talk. A gracious man, very down to Earth. Never forget it.
