I don’t think it was luck. I am not much of a tourist and do most of my sightseeing by foot. I walk out into the country where they have never seen a foreigner, except the oldest ones and I walk in the tiny street mazes in the city at night and the experiences tend to be invitations to coffee or rice wine or tea. I do stay out of the big city centers, day and night, though. They are the same the world over. If guys stop to offer me a ride to place with women I am too close and I turn around.
I would think Poland would be a very safe country for women.
But of course, since Poland restricts abortions, there’s no way they’d put them on the list.
Take out the Dem cities and we'd be number 1.
I haven’t heard of any canton in Switzerland filing for bankruptcy.
the Swiss cantons are highly independent - practically countries in their own right. They have far more independence from central “government” than US states. German “landen” have slightly more independence from central government than US states but the swiss take the cake :)
Sounds like what the Founding Fathers wanted for this country.
